Forget all the oyhers collectively, outside of City i'd only want Pogba and Dembele, the rest we either don't need (Waynama, Wilshere) or ain't good enough (the rest).

Just to add - Barkley would probably have a good chance at starting at United/Spurs too.

17 mil for a 6 months contract LOL

£15m. And as soon as he signs, his value will immediately increase to let’s say £25m/£30m. If he had 2 years left on his contract he’d be costing us about £40m at least from Everton imo.

You are right but just the thought of paying 17 mil for a 6 months contract is nuts.

It’s quite funny, the Lampard comparisons. Lampard’s signing at the time (at a very similar stage in their careers actually) had divided a lot of Chelsea fans as well. Lampard was a talent at that time too. Then prime Jose Mourinho helped him become one of the best on the planet.

If Barkley offers the same hard work and commitment (Conte’s favourite words) that Lampard did, he’ll at the very least be on the right path to becoming a player worthy of starting here.

With him so good at creating chances last season and at least able to ind the goal without need of GPS then I reckon we give the lad a shot Its obvious the Don believes in Baks with all the time hes giving him. So lets see if Barkley gets some chances when hes thought fit enough to play in the side.
