Fucking hell this thread has become pathetic.

The conditions couldn't have been worse for a debut performance. But he gave Chelsea fans something to be positive about. Well done, son.

This thread is beyond pathetic. People are actually calling him Torres #2 for 20 minutes of play where he was completely isolated upfront and a penalty he missed. What would you expect Morata to do in

Why don't you knockers give him another chance.

Anyways we aint got anyone else, so you'll just have to like it or lump it.

LOL But there are options we havent tried yet

Giroud or Pedro/Eden - Cant see why a false 9 wouldnt work with our midfield.

Well Hazard has no intentions of playing there false nine that is, you see waht he thought of it under Conte.

And Pedro fucking hell bud give me a break.

And then World Cup winner Giroud, and you think that's and improvement on Morata.

I am all in on Morata until January window, he needs to come good in a big way. I am going to just be patient, as we really have no choice, I dont think Giroud is anywhere near good enough and Abraham looks a bust. Flat track bully in Championship, shit in EPL.

Arsenal were always Morata's bogey team.

Failed a penalty in the Community shield last year, another in this year's pre-season friendly, and missed those chances in the Capital one cup semi final.

If scoring against any one team would lift a weight off his shoulders, I would think its Arsenal

Giroud is below average. Not to mention not cut out for a system like this. He is far too slow and can't press.

I don't think Costa would be a perfect fit for this system.

I look at a guy like Lacazette though and see someone who would have thrived in this system. Strong, technical and has speed to him.

I'm easy as long as he can chuck a few goals in.

I do still think Zola will get thru to Morata but just hope its sooner rather than later cause Sarri right now seems convinced in him.

I agree but don't think there's no hope for Morata, wouldn't say they are completely opposites.

Lacazette is a great player though and everyone just thinks all he can do is score goals too, he always seems to know where to move, how to create space for himself, when to drop off and when to go in behind defences. Pity we never looked at him prior to moving to Arsenal he could have been a great alternative.
