It's almost as if they take special delight in watching managers fail after a season of success. It's common sense we had to capitalize on the gift title (and it was a gift since no one expected it) that Conte delivered. Instead they hang him to dry. I don't know what to say anymore. Roman needs to take a hard look at himself also.

no wonder managers dont last long at Chelsea, they deliver and when the board needs to support them properly afterwards, they leave them to dry like you said. Carlo after our double winning season is a very good example, now the same is happening to Conte, its like a curse for italian managers at Chelsea.

they have to spend the money somewhere... ;)

every transfer window they target 5 superstars who have no interest in playing for us, but they only find out at the end of the transfer window... then they end up with a lot of cash from selling loanees, as designed.

^^ fabinho would have made a lot more sense considering that we already had Kante.

Again everyone could see we needed someone like Tolisso to compensate Bakayoko. A central midfielder with both technical and  physical attributes. We are now in a situation were an injury to Kante makes Conte put David headless chicken Luiz in midfield and we get totally dominated

I don't think we can complain on midfield situation.

We have 4 midfielder fighting for 2 spots. 2 just happen to be injured.

The amount of criticism at Bakayoko is ridiculous. Hopefully it does not come from the same person who was excited to see him when he first sign with us.

I have no problem with bakayoko, you can tell that he still need tons of work even Conte said that his initial plan was to play him behind Matic in the beginning but Matic is gone so Bakayoko need to grow fast.

The sooner we ditch Cesc "slower than grandpa" Fabregas, Cahill and Willian aka zero fucks given, the sooner we will play better.

But oh we dont have a bench. Nice one, board.

That said, I dont see Baka as culprit, yes he was poor, but he has plenty of talent to improve and his play time is justified for the time being, unlike those three mentioned above.

Also give Azpi some rest, he has been awful recently.

Under the appearance of the setting it passes to five meters horizontally or 10 meters backwards. There are two cast iron rolls in place of his feet, he is a bumper who has the same Cahill confidence on the ball, but he is big, big and bad and he tries to break down the other team.It is poor, but poorly strong!

Here, this is Bakayoko! Last year with the game of Monaco that was so overwhelming, proactive, spectacular and overwhelming in the trequarts (especially in the championship, with very low hands) that this miracle was almost passing through the beautiful choral outline made up of his teammate!

put beautifully. almost Shakespearean.

Guy’s had no preseason and is carrying an injury and still played. Yes, bad game, but he didn’t let the mistake get to him and was a lot better after it.

Still has to work on his awareness a lot, but he’ll get better. Just love that he stepped up for his team today even though he was in pain/injured.

Does the injury worry you?

At no point to this season has he looked like the athlete I thought he would be. He looks really slow and sluggish. Major concern tbh.
