Maybe because Rodriguez did not play that good in defensive terms last year.Offensive wise,he is good,but his defensive work has to improve.

Why not? You can tell a lot from some of clips.

I've read in this thread he would be a good player for Hazard to link up with and I can see absolutely zero proof of that from the video.
