On the other side, I couldn't be arsed about losing Mourinho even if United win the league. They'll eventually end up in a worse situation than they were at the end of the Van Gaal era just like his time here. I was at the lake chilling with friends. Checked from time to time the liveticker and the last 15 minutes i watched on Youtube. Two clubs played against eacher other, two former managers, Ranieri got the better of Mourinho last time, this time it was different, fair play. I hope Mourinho does well, would prove a point to the club, but that's just my way of thinking, each to their own. Some like de Bruyne, fewer Lukaku and Mourinho. You're entitled to your own predicitions, time will tell. I for one wouldn't use 'cringe' in this context, i'm not here to tell you what you can or can't say. Bye! It's too big 625
So Mourinho thinks Pogba is better off at Utd than Madrid and Barca because the two latter clubs have too many "main men" (i.e. Ronaldo and Messi) whom will block his development. What a load of shite. It will be interesting to see whether Jose actually helps him develop or not because Pogba seems to have done pretty well at that on his own at Juve. He will probably end up playing him too deep and we'll see Pogba slowly start to become anonymous in games or be eased into a more defensive central midfielder. petre.ispirescu and Adnane

So what you're saying is that you're OK with Mourinho(United) doing well just so that it 'proves a point'? I don't care much you love Jose, surely it can't be more than your love for the club? Because what you're saying certainly proves that you're a Jose fan rather than a Chelsea fan. Fernando and MefiX19

I wish Mourinho only the best after what he's done for this club time and time again. I stand by my opinion that the club should have better kicked out some of the players, i can't condone their behaviour. So excuse me when i feel a little satisfaction. I don't like the management, i don't like some players, mistreated the coach, but guess what i like the club, i'm still around, you can make of it whatever you want. Maybe for you i'm only a Jose fan, for others maybe not, but why are we talking about me, i stated my opinion and i'm continuing to do so as long as i like. It's about the opinion, not the person, just food for thought. I think apart from the this story, where i'm biased af, i'm (for you) more bearable in other threads. Cheers! Blue_Fox_ 2,086
I cheered at the final whistle. He has put together a very nice team, he deserved it. It could've been us, we're too blind for that. Hope he wins the league if we (more likely than not) can't. Oh and the Europa League as well. Essien19

Fernando 6,585
Yeah how can a true Chelsea fan celebrate another rival team success is beyond me. I know I rather city win all the time if we ain't winning just because no one cares about them, a soul less club. But I won't celebrate if they win, it just makes me want to get things right at my club so I can challenge again. Popular Post! Eidur the Spider 4,515 Posted August 8, 2016 Popular Post! Share Posted August 8, 2016 I do not understand how anyone can STILL say Mourinho was harshly treated last season, alright the players didn't cover themselves in glory and the funds weren't made available for him to get new players in, but come off it, we were near the relegation zone, with NO SIGN of coming out of it, and to go along with that, Jose damn near lost his mind, constant picking of players who were so obviously out of form, and being so damn arrogant in his post match press conferences that he went from Box office must watch to a moaning old man who has been surpassed by younger, better managers. Some on here need to be directed to redcafe so they can celebrate Mourinho's wins there, not here where we should be focusing on Conte and the players we have. Deary me, its quite sickening. Chelsea FC. NOT Mourinho FC. Hybrid Angel, The Chels, MefiX19 and 5 others
Pizy 18,952
Damn, I wanna ban a few people really badly right now... Anyways, I really hope José tries to shoehorn Rooney into his starting XI which would push Pogba further back where he was terrible and anonymous for France. That's the only way I can see him struggling. Outside of us getting top 4, my biggest wish this season is for United to finish outside of it. Don't think I'd ever see something as hilarious if José gets his dream job, signs all these ridiculous players, and then fails to reach the CL places. Unfortunately, with the standard of defending in the PL I think old man Zlatan will bang in 25 or so goals and they'll easily finish in the top 2.
