Looks like Cech is going to have a shoulder operation and if that is the case, then he'll be out for 3 months which means his return will be in August.

Courtois to be recalled and used as a potential No.1?

Would be logical, as 3 months may well turn into 4 or 5 as the time goes. I doubt we'd risk it.

Bad luck for us, bad luck for Atletico, this injury.

Since Cech faces three months out, Thibaut will be handed the opportunity to become Chelsea´s Number 1 goalkeeper.

I do not mean to be a-hole, but this situation is an ideal one for the club. This injury has now made it much easier & Courtois is likely to start next season as No.1 as the kid wishes.

His injury means big blow in our CL title chances...he was vital every year, pulling those saves. Schwarzer is good, but Cech is Cech.

When your No 1 goalie gets injured, it´s always a loss. I am here to wish a speedy recovery, but Courtois is the future & that´s undoudetly the truth.

Bit strange to see Cech made it into the PFA Team of the Year. Hasn't exactly been great this season. Had his moments but also made some big blunders.

Not as strange as De Gea winning it last season.

Yeah he doesn't deserve it on the season he's had, as there are keepers who have exceeded expectations and had excellent seasons like Marshall, but on ability alone, Petr is still by far the best keeper in the league.

Numbers! He's had the most clean sheets.

Read it too. This is trending on twitter now. Big time.

Apparently it was on Sky Sports News - "Petr Cech, Eden Hazard, John Terry and Samuel Eto'o are all training this morning. The Blues goalkeeper has told us he'll be fit to face Atletico Madrid tomorrow night. More soon from our man at Cobham."

Maybe it wasn't a dislocated shoulder afterall?!
