Diego Costa

Don't be ridiculous. The ref might not have seen it but Costa is surely going to get a retrospective ban.

You can't put your elbow into somone's neck, push someone in the face with 2 hands and then smack him in the face with 1 hand.

We got really lucky there. If the ref sees that it's a red card and we would have been a man down.

I really don't get this. He is one of the most annoying players om the pitch.

Don't you see that he is doing more bad than good! Technically he is very poor!

He screwed up more than one attack because he didn't see his teammates and lost the bal a stupid way.

This is not a great player, just an annoying player who gets his team into trouble in more than 1 occasion!

Don't waste your breathe on "these guys"

don't be shocked if the FA suspends Costa for a few games. after reviewing the match video highlights. because every opportunity for the FA to kick Chelsea FC in the Balls they will do it with pleasure.

If he gets suspended, which I hope will happen, it's because he clearly deserves it.

I get going off to the wing sometimes but it's like he spends most of the time of the wing.

I've been saying this for ages. Too much drifting. He should always be in the box when the ball is in wide positions. Yet you'll (too) often catch him positioned on the left wing or behind play for some reason. It really annoys me.

And it's not just him. Not enough bodies in the box in most cases.

Waiting when it is announced that he will be banned for 3-5 matches in the next couple of days for elbowing Arsenal players and everyone here to come out with the usual 'campaign against us', 'conspiracy' and other typical bs.

I think you'll find that the overwhelming majority of the posts here are actually slating Costa's performance and behaviour.

Clearly not...apparently anything that gives us an advantage should be celebrated no matter how good or bad it is. Like I said just wait until people get into their usual 'FA anti Chelsea' tone when he is banned in a couple of days after FA review.

Aside from the "incidents" i really wish he would stop trying to dribble people. His off the ball movement is great but he's just not skillful enough to take on defenders and is way to predictable.

He always tries to go past a player, sees he's not gonna succeed and then tries to cut back and go straight through that player.

Just pass the ball and get back into a goalscoring position.

This...he should stop trying to dribble his way out and losing the ball..He badly needs to improve that aspect..anyway his off the ball movement is world class and finishing is top notch..but he needs to improve his link up play, holding up ball and aerial ability

There have literally only been about 3 members who have been defending Costa on the last few pages...
