People keep slamming him for his 'weak' hold up and link up, and he keeps shutting them up.

That pass for Oscar's goal wasn't easy in any sense and it was just right Oscar was...

He's a hell of a player and he deserves much more recognition and praise and I still feel secondhand embarrassment by all of you who jumped on him during a mini slump in his first season in English football. Please, go back and delete/edit your posts and save some face

He doesn't need to have amazing playmaking or target-man skills; Drogba is on the team for that stuff.

His link up play will forever be underrated, he was fantastic today yet again. 17 goals in 19 PL appearances is incredible. What a player.

Shocked this post got so many 'likes'. Slamming? Secondhand embarrassment? Jumped on him? Chill  Just like with any other player constructive criticism totally acceptable and encouraged, his linkup and hold up play was not good enough, and since he's worked on it massively improved and we as fans are all benefiting from that.

Go back to the end of December and read the posts. Some went as far as saying he wasn't good enough... as usual most people's memory is as long as the latest match. And yes, it makes me embarrassed. I said it then and I repeat again. The last thing to find in some threads is constructive criticism - unless that's how we call moaning and spoiled attitude.

The problem with so many fans these days is exactly that. They're fans not supporters...
