Mata didnt leave because of world cup.

He left because he knew Jose would never appreciate his skill set as much as others might. He left for his club career, not for the Spain NT. Mata was never and will never be significant for La Roja.

Mourinho: "Fabregas is the kind of player we need. Not just for his qualities as a player but also his competitive personality" #CFC

Mourinho: Cesc is a player in the best years of his career – 26, 27, 28. He knows England well, the PL well, he will not need time to adapt.

Mourinho on Fabregas: "I think he is the kind of player who will come and train for a couple of weeks and be ready to prove himself" #CFC

Well he said it right, his competitive personality.

I prefer these type of people despite some Chelsea fans not liking him and saying hes a cunt and what not.

Cause I rather have a million of these then sissy like Torres!

That's assuming you believe that Cesc is actually a competitive personality... I know I'd LIKE to believe that but I'm not so sure he is.

Your wrong, cause if he didn't believe it he wouldn't have gone after him.

Why not? he was available and relatively cheap and exactly the type of player we need. His mental qualities are next to impossible to assess until you work with him.

He probably is that but think it just needs to be fortified. After all, Wenger couldn't win anything for 8 years and even at Barcelona, trophies were hardly coming by easily in his time there. Bound not to be strong as it should and if there is a manager out there right now that can turn a player into a winner, then one would trust Mourinho to do so.

I'm just not 100% on this. Need to see it before I make a true assessment.

Jose Mourinho's interest in Cesc Fabregas dates back to 2010, but player at that time only wanted Barcelona. Details in next tweet. #CFC

Mourinho tried to sign Fabregas while in charge of Real Madrid in Dec.2010, was also covered by Marca/Mundo Deportivo
