Not for all the others no.

Only Spain (3), England (2) and Portugal (2), had more than one top seed in this season's Champions' League draw. Next season those countries will be allocated just one top seed by right. One country might be able to claim a second club in pot one but only if that club are the European Champions.

Other countries will gain from the change. France and Italy, for example, had no top seeds this season but will be guaranteed at least one next time around. The situation for Russia will be even better. From my memory, Russia has never had a top seed in the Champions' League/European Cup draw but they will do in 2015/16.

The countries that will lose with that are the best ones.Germany, Italy, ENgald and Spain.

Portugal had 2 clubs in there but that's not sustainable, Porto and Benfica are at best in the second gruop in terms of quality. This season they are a really doof example... Porto played with Shaktar, BATE and Athetic... Man City played against Bayern, Roma and CSKA. It's difficult... and it was the same for the last 3 years.

For eample if by miracle Bayern lose the German League they can the in the gruop of Real Madrid and then they can play against Barcelona. THey will have a problem.

Man City has a lot of incompetence but also had no luck in the last 3 seasons, Man City is a team that should be at least in semi finals of CHampions on a regular basis.

And still about Englad... in one or 2 years when the clubs are going to have the same money Real Madrid has don't doubt that the results of ENgland football will be a lot better.

With City losing the max points they can get at the end of the season is 88.

If they draw/loose another game they only can get 86/85 max point which won't be enough for the title imo (maybe 86 on goal difference).

And i can't see this sluggish City team go on an 11 match winning streak.

The Title is so freaking close!!!!! We just got to keep doing what we've been doing and show no complacency

8 wins and 3 draws will guarantee us the title. Or better yet just 9 wins

87points is the championship mark

Now it is 26 points (8 wins 2 draws 1 loss) which would do it as City can only get 88 points if they win their last ten games.

No way city will win all their 10 matches left. They can only get 86points max imo, considering the tough matches they have left. We just need 8 wins now or 7 wins and 3 draws to seal the title.

Argh....

people saying the league is over etc....BULLSH*T!

Still a long way to go!

It's not over until it's over.

Wouldn't say a long way to go 10/11 games left 28 games played. It definitely starting to wind down now

Anything can happen in this league that's why its the most watched competition in the world. Sure the overall quality of the games are poor but I wonder if that has anything to do with the accumulation of matches around Christmas time?

Last nights game at West Ham where we rode our luck and got three points is the type of game where you come away from it thinking "We could win this thing!" We weren't at our best but we weren't exactly poor either! We just had a few players playing in roles they weren't accustomed to... Having said that the results this week show we have the sort of make up that champions have.

City just don't look as threatening or imposing as they once did. Pellegrino wants to play expansively when clearly his best players are out of gas and its showing. Their inability to play compact and break with pace has been exposed time and again in 2015.

With the next 5 games being relatively easy(forget the champions league for now) against Burnley Away, West Brom home, Palace Away, Man Utd Away,

West Ham Home, City need to be taking 15pts from those fixtures. We've got ourselves a bit of cushion and even when we don't play well we've been getting results. The team has only lost 3 times all year and twice in the Prem... It would have to be a monumental collapse for a Jose to surrender a 5pt lead with a game in hand at Leicester.

We don't have to win a lot just not allow the pressure of not winning to get to us. We are well within the drivers seat and only need one more decent run of games to be crowned champs! Its now go time... Go out and win the title! Don't have it handed to you like City did last year, WIN IT!

I seriously don't understand why Spurs can complete their game today but we need to wait untill the end of April to play it and in a tighter schedule.

I'm glad we didn't play today. Our next 5 league games are on a reasonable schedule. If, if, if, we can win them all then City will be at least 5 points behind us and they will have only 5 games left to play. That will be a very tough place for them. I'm happy to have these next few games come along in a nice regular way, they're massive for us.
