Kurt Zouma

He has played against Ibrahimovic.

I know, and that's why I clarified exactly why Aguero was the toughest test of his career - he's a completely different kind of test:

he has never played against an opponent that quick, technically gifted and tricky

Aguero represents a unique challenge with that combination.

dudeman, in a few years france could have a world cup winning team

Benzema

Griezzmen - Grenier - Lacazette

Cabaye - Schneiderlin

Digne - Varane - Zouma - Sagna

By the 2018 WC it's more likely to look like this IMO:

-------------------Lloris---------------------

-Foulquier--Zouma---Varane--Digne-

--------------Schneiderlin-----------------

--------Pogba------------Sissoko---------

--Lacazette-----------------Griezmann--

-----------------Benzema------------------

But yeah, whichever it is they're going to have both a really good and really young (average age of around 26 in the 11 I mentioned above) side. It's crazy!

At the start of the season, there was talk of him going out on loan, but Zouma kept reinforcing (when asked by the media) his determination to work hard in training and take his chances. Fair play to him, imagine if Lukaku had that attitude!

Or KDB.

Noticed that Zouma hardly got any game first half of the season just like KDB.

Just second half of the season he started to get games.

I imagine same would have happened to KDB if he had stayed.

Oh well.

I'm not sure if he reminds me of Gallas or Desailly, maybe a bit of both. But it's very much like the Rafael Varane situation with Jose and Cahill will now do well to bet back in the team. There's real flexibility now there as JT can be rested and Ivan could go there too. Our defence is looking strong.

Alright, whoscored.com have completely lost their credibility.

Get this - the ratings from today's game - Ivanovic 6.5, Zouma 6.7, Azpilicueta 7.0, Courtois 7.0

nah. he didn't really have much to do. Whatever came his way he dealt with but Whoscored is about stats and he didn't have a lot to do mainly because Matic was a freak yesterday.

We still need a CB, Terry will soon be over. It will be exactly like Carvalho, started declining in CHelsea did a great season in Real Madrid and then was over. We need another CB, and a word class CB.

Terry is good for two years at least. Time to promote from within
