I'm not saying that we need David Beckham, but it's kind of annoying to see footballers in our club almost always hitting the first man on corners.

Putting it in the middle would at least give the players a chance to go for it. In my opinion, they don't put much practice into it

I know what you mean and it can be very frustrating however I am sure they do practice set pieces a lot and the odd lofted ball into the area rather than the lower fast ones would make a difference otherwise the set pieces become too predictable.

Am sure the likes of JT and Cahill etc would have something to say after getting in position for each one then having to sprint back for nothing

Even crazier. I'm just waiting for the dry spell. Not that I want it to happen but there's no other way. 8-10 FKs in a season is very rare, 10+ is extremely rare. Maybe Oscar can score a few when it happens or something.

But great stuff from Willian. Reminds me of Drogba in 09/10. Out of nothing he became a specialist for a year. Never came close to it ever again.

That's true. He hits them with speed as well. His technique has been flawless this year.

I am not sure whether the 2-1 vs Swansea was credited as an own goal but if so, all his 6 goals this season came from freekicks. That highlights the disparity of his finishing and free kicks ability. But i guess u cannot get too greedy. his set piece ability + his defensive work should justify his selection.
