Stoked about the new Chels kit! Be pre - ordering it tomorrow after work! If we win the toss over home team for Wembley.. Reckon we'll wear it?

Also hope we revert back to a white away and a yellow 3rd.. So gutted I never got last years yellow shirt we won the FA Cup in! If anyone's got a size small, good condition.. it'll go to a grateful home

Frank Lampard will be wearing red on his home shirt next season as his club pay homage to their most loyal supporters — the Chelsea Pensioners.

As our first picture shows the new adidas kit, that is officially launched tomorrow, will feature a red collar and trim along with the traditional Chelsea blue and will be worn by the team at their last Premier League game of the campaign against Wigan at home.

The pensioners still take their seats in the main stand at Stamford Bridge wearing their famous red coats. Chelsea were actually nicknamed The Pensioners between 1905 and 1952 and this is not the first time red has been included on a Chelsea kit.

In 1953, Chelsea relaunched the official club badge featuring a red Lion for the first time.

By 1959, red was introduced into the kit socks, and the colour continued to feature in numerous home and away kits until 1994.

The new shirts will also feature half-length sleeves for the first time and use the latest “compression technology” within the shirt.

Fans cannot buy the shirt until 6 May but can pre-order from midnight tonight on the club's official website www.chelseafc.com

Very nice kit, I see the ones they sell one the megastore to the fans arent as tight around the arms, also the shorts dont have a red trim at the bottom.

It's really nice I love the little bits of red on the shorts and sleeves.

Looks like theres some sort of pattern on the chest and dots on the collar?

the kit looks like the sky sports news template.

which is an interesting way to please the majority of fans, because you don't exactly watch sky sports news thinking i wish they wouldn't combine blue and red like that "lets change over to setanta.. oh wait".. exactly.
