Well I disagree entirely there, he usually plays at CAM for Schalke. Meyer or Boateng are often shifted out there. Play your best player in their best position and all that...

Actually, he's spent most of his career at Schalke playing on the left. I'm not sure were you're getting this he usually plays CAM from.

why aren't we linked with him? We need a creative midfielder who can play #10 and on the wing. Julian can do both AND he's young. AND he plays for Schalke. Give em the right amount of money and he'll be a Chelsea player. With quality attacking midfielders at a premium, failing to realize that this guy is a REALLY good option for what we want would be ludicrous from the board.

Used to be very highly rated and I understand he still is but think he was Juve's second or third choice after being knocked back for Gotze and possibly Oscar. Think he needs to play centrally more, he was jigged about from in the middle to on the left and then managed to get a lot of injuries. Juventus will be ideal for him as they need a 10.
