Not too worried about the fixtures directly after CL games. We seemed to have handled it pretty well last season iirc

We did. Most of the league defeats last season came before a Champions League match but on the other hand, none of the league games after a CL match (in particular the group stage games) were all big games like the ones we have this season.

@Jason, Hey men I been hearing there's some changes to the CL next season. Like the seeding and what not

You know if this is true?

And also about Europa League winner getting a spot in the CL as well....

I don't recall reading anything about changes to the seedings. No changes for now AFAIR.

And yes, the Europa League winner will get a spot in the following season's Champions League from 2015/16 onwards. Read more here - http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2329601/Europa-League-winners-given-Champions-League-place-UEFA.html

Haven't read anything about seedings but changes have been made to the bookings system. I believe now that all yellow cards are removed before the semifinal or something like that.

Not exactly new news. Platini has mentioned some time ago he will discuss the idea at the UEFA meeting. Just of course, it looks like the idea has been approved now.

And if THAT change does happen, then the group stage is gonna be really fun and scary at the same time. Eeek!

I think Maribor are being underestimated a bit. I watched almost all of their EL matches last season (they were in the same group as Thorgan's Zulte) and they are a good organized side that is very difficult to beat. They will take points off teams in the group, make no mistake.
