Victor Moses

Because Chelsea is the one stalling not Wigan. It'd be stupid to buy Moses if we're still in for Hulk. Can't have both and Chelsea obviously prioritized Hulk and rightly so.

thats how I read it as well .. We are after Hulk or Cavani ..Moses is insurance

Whelan warns Chelsea over Moses

Wigan owner Dave Whelan has warned Chelsea that the price for Victor Moses might go up if he has a good game against the Blues in their Premier League opener on Sunday.

He'll cave before the transfer window closes; if not then in January - same as Bolton did.

this quotemmakes me think a "deal" is in place but we are stalling to see what happens with the hulk deal. Wigan are just warning us this stalling might back fire.

Roberto Martinez: "It’s only a matter of time before he (Moses) is playing for a club which is challenging for the PL title." talksport

I'm fascinated by how taklshite managed to mean that the deal is a matter of hours whereas the quote really seems to mean the player has a bright future

I wrote some stuff about Moses, I'll publish it tomorrow. I did put a little bio and a detailled and commented statistical analysis with a comparison with Chelsea's attackers

Here it is: If you're too lazy to read the bio, scroll down to the second and third parts with the figures tables. At the very end there's a comparison with Sturridge, Marin, Hazard and Mata

Enjoy :)

Martinez - Moses won't go cheap

Latics stand firm over Blues target

Roberto Martinez insists Wigan would rather lose Chelsea target Victor Moses on a free transfer next summer than let him go at a cut price.

HULK?

Don't think it was ever an if we can't get Moses we will go for hulk, think its more of a case where we are stalling to see if we can get hulk and if not we will bring in victor Moses.

Don't think we're after Cavani tbh.

I think Cavani is the contigency plan if torres is not performing come january time... I agree that i don't think we want him atm though, and i have high hopes for torres so hopefully we won't need him.

Well IMO that won't really cut it. We need a good quality out and out CF. the club are going to take a massive gamble if they don't buy one.

Yeah but he would only have to be 3rd choice as a backup striker, as we would be playing him RW anyway...
