I like his hair and he is a good character, but I hope next manager will know what to with this guy, he is not a CB at all.

Yesterday he changed his game a bit. He took less risks and actually took the ball out of play, rather than hold onto it when under pressure.

He's been doing that for a few months now. I can't remember which game it was but it was immediately after he made a bad mistake in the previous one. The change was extremely noticeable in that game. Ever since then he's been trying to do the simple things more often.

He's been improving for past few months. But of course it's typical that he improved yesterday, what else could we expect to hear.

I don't know if your post was indirectly referring to mine.Although, I do agree he's been improving over the past few months I still stick with what I said regarding yesterdays game.

Not every post is an attack on AVB's methods.

RB for him is just not natural.

His positioning at RB is weird. He jogs slowly(with his back to the ball) to the touchline when the one in midfield wanted to pass to him. Since he was right footed, there was no way he could cut in and cross with the right.

I think LB or CB is a better position for him.

Remember couple of years back the world and it's dog were screaming for Danny Alves to be "tried" as a winger, Pep did it at the Bernabeu of all places and Alves flopped.

Defenders that are good going forward don't automatically mean they will do well in a further forward position.

That's true...I guess it all depends on how versatile the player is. As for Dani Alves...he's basically a RW player for Barcelona anyway, he's got so much freedom to keep on charging down that right flank.

Never had the slightest doubts about his awesomeness and liked Tomo-91 for that , hopefully now he proved what he is capable of and silenced his critics.

If that lad is being controlled by a boy in a PS game , then man i will shit myself if i were to play against that boy .

Top, top defensive work last night. His challenges were brilliant, his clearances were smart & he was just very good. Played like a warrior through injury, gave it his all.. This is a lad who has a natural passion for the game and fans. Hope he stays here for a long-while.
