If we got as much money for Luiz as is being said then whoever handles our transfers should be rewarded a new Ferrari from Roman. Nearly doubling our money on 3 straight transfers is ridiculous.

We could conceivably sell Lukaku and Courtois for at least double what we paid for them too. Astoundingly good business compared to what we were doing a few years ago.

Luiz had the potential to be one of the best players but that never really materialised, when we first singed him we all made excuses saying his inconsistencies was down to the fact he's young and new to the league... now three years later he hasn't really progressed.

I went on Redcafe just to see what they were saying and they all cannot believe we're getting that much for him, one member even said this deal may be bent

I will miss him, he is a great character to have in a dressing room and all the fans liked him (at least off the pitch). He is also very versatile which always comes in handy, but 50€ million is a crazy amount for him and we would be stupid not to sell him at that price. Zouma can take his spot as a back up CB, but we must use this money to buy a WC central midfielder to partner Matić.
