I know this is going to sound Moyesyish but we really didn't do that badly last week considering the team we took to Bavaria, especially before the late Lewa brace.

I agree, completely

City or PSG (some sort of swap involving Neymar)?

I'm sure if he announced his desire to leave, someone would find a way.

Neymar would be a fool to go back ther with no Messi (and he is giving up Mbappe) unless Barca sign up some MAJOR other players, like 4 or 5 on top of Neymar swappie thing

Messi is also 34 in 10 months so PSG would have to be idiots to that

Defense is their weakness with all the injuries. Which is why I think city if sterling or Silva go in behind Kimmich There will be spaces and lots of opportunities to play in Agüwro or Gabriel. Beating Bayern will all come down to being clinical cos there will be chances in both ends

I fucked up, it was Boateng who got rinsed and caused me to type that about Alaba, sorry

Barca are in an absolute world of trouble, too. I think they have by far the highest wage bill in the world, nearly all of their mega money signings have failed, they can't spend big now due to the pandemic, their squad is filled with aging, past it players like Busquets, Pique, and Alba. And then ON TOP of all that they'll need a new manager AGAIN, plus Messi will be likely agitating for a move.

They might just be in the worst position of any club in Europe. Chaos that would make Chelsea say yikes!

I think the problem would be solved once Messi leaves.

Team has been created around him. I assume a lot of younger hungrier players will step up once he is gone.

They might go for Pochetino next and that would be the right move with Messi out!

Barcelona need a massive rebuild, so something has to give eventually.

PSG will probably do anything at this point to win the CL (doubt this will be their year either).

first time since 2005 that one or both of Messi and CR7 have not been in the CL semifinals

Standing ovation to those two spectacular footballers. Yes, I know they have played for three clubs who have experienced overlapping periods of dominance during that time but even so. Outstanding stat.

2005 should have been our first CL trophy, if not for getting FUCKED in the bindipper game on that no pen call on Sami Hyypiä when he bulldozed Kezman in the box and nothing

The average age of the Barcelona players tonight were 30.

and they just sturdily swapped a 24yo MF (turned 24 two days ago) (Arthur) for a 30yo (31yo in the coming winter) Pjanic
roflmaaoooooooooooooooooooooooooo
The board have been a shambles for years and they want to wait ANOTHER year till the elections come around before attempting to fix this shit show.

So much is wrong with the club, it's untrue.
