Its Barcelona...watch them sign new players at the end of the season.

they have a deal with Ter Stegen but they can't register him now right? This ban looks solid. I read somewhere Barca are caught on multiple accounts

That deal has been signed off for Stegen now, it won't affect it.

I'm sure they will "appeal" the decision and be able to sign Ter Stegen at the very least.

Barcelona doesn't really have to worry too much. I think the German gk deal is already done, so that will go through and they already have enough youngsters coming through the forward and cm positions (Rafina, dos santos, roberto, defelou, cuenca, tello, traore, patri etc).

The only concern would be CB, which isn't that big of a deal in domestic play, but their continual reliance on barthra will be there downfall.

Great news. After all the drama with tax evasions, the Neymar saga etc. those cunts finally get what they deserve. If the ban holds, they will be seriously fucked up with the goalkeepers and central defenders. Also, one less club to compete with for signings this summer.

However, IMO them not being able to sell their current squad is a bit harsh on the players who might want to leave now. It would be funny as hell to see them suffer with an already thin squad without being able to improve and then on top of that have some of their current players submitting transfer requests.

This Bayern team is better than last season's, it is plain obvious!

The difference is that last year they were in a mission, which was to erase 2012's home loss to Chelsea. Now, they are complacent as fuck and they think they can score whenever they want. The disparity between them and their home league also doesnt help..

Barcelona is a good example of this: the team that will ultimately be remembered will be the 2011 squad and that 3-1 final at Wembley, but they were much better in 2012 when they lost to us!

This is football and anything can happen, but I highly doubt they will lose a trophy this season.

maybe it's a matter of style. I enjoyed that team last year much more and as you said they were in a mission. They seemed deadly. This one seems to cook the opponents, but we may agree to disagree too :)
