He said, he set us out to push for the 3rd goal and playing the ball quicker. The first is somewhat sensible given how weak our defence is but honestly, I think he should realize that 2-0 up at halftime vs Sheffield we should be able to see the game out and if that means bringing on Christensen as a DM, I would prefer that 100% over playing Gilmour, who pretty much was useless.

Christensen has different characteristics than Kovacic. Christensen will not go forward, while Kovacic is a lot more offensive compared to Christensen in midfield.

Every defender scores here and there but not only this guy. Tomori, James just came in to the squad and already scored. Zouma also scored yesterday. Not to mention all the others over the years... What is weird, in Borrussia he scored 7 times in 82 matches. Here 79 games and still zero. In March is going to be three years since his last goal in clubs football. For Kovacic three years since last goal will come in January which is even more worrying since he's midfielder.

Been unlucky, too, though... Right now I can remember at least seven or eight big chances in the past couple of seasons, all headers.

It could of been just unlucky or an accumulation of a lot of minutes maybe. Its extremely concerning how often our players are getting injuries, big or small,  so far this season though.

Ive mentioned before regarding Kante, Emerson, Rudiger and it looking like a pattern. Hopefully ACs just got something small, like Reece got IIRC because when he has played this season he has impressed.

Andreas Christensen 'wanted by Barcelona next summer'

Barcelona sporting director Eric Abidal is reportedly keen to bring Chelsea centre-back Andreas Christensen to the club in next summer's transfer window.

The Spanish side are short of first-team options in central defence with Samuel Umtiti struggling to overcome a knee problem and Jean-Clair Todibo finding it difficult to settle at the club.

As a result, head coach Ernesto Valverde has not been given much of an opportunity to rest first-choice pairing Gerard Pique and Clement Lenglet during the 2019-20 campaign.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Christensen has emerged as a target for the Catalan giants, who will also look to sign a new full-back and striker ahead of the 2020-21 season.

Christensen has not turned out for Chelsea in the Premier League since the end of September due to injury, although he did make the bench against Crystal Palace before the international break.

The 23-year-old will see his current deal at Stamford Bridge expire in the summer of 2022.

Get it done squeeze a big fee for him and use the money to sign a top CB the premier League is too physical for him he needs to go
