His work rate is excellent and the amount of assists he gets through counters is amazing. Him, Oscar and Willian do the defensive bit very well from what I have seen but offensively De Bruyne tops it. Shame it did nto work out for him here. Hope he goes on to have a great career either way.

De Bruyne plays higher up the pitch at the moment, even drifting to the wings a lot. Further in his career he may play in Fabregas' position, that's true.

De Bruyne broke the Bundesliga's record for most assists in 11 games. The previous record was Diego with 8 assists in 11 games, De Bruyne now has 9. If he continues like this, Ribery's record with 22 for the season is reachable. If Wolfsburg still had a striker like Dzeko, he could already have had 14-15 assists this season.

Eh? He's most effective as a play maker a la Scholes. He hardly hurts Eden's game as KDB plays more of long passing game and he's quite good at providing a final ball.

They certainly can co exist on the field. KDB is most effective being able to play a free AM role.
