Erick Lamela turns out to be such a good player! I'm managing QPR on one of my saves (I know, wanted a bit if a challenge) and he's a machine goal + assist wise. I'm in the 2014/2015 season and he's probably going to end up being my best player.

My QPR team:

Ospina - Free. Surprisingly been excellent, has taken over from Julio Cesar. A lot more solid.

Clyne - £10m. Really recommend if you need a great attacking right back, he's pushed out Walker and Johnson in the England team and is always one of my best performers.

Kirchhoff - £10m. Another magnificent coup. Monster at the back. One of the best in his position in the PL.

Salvatore Bocchetti - Free. Another coup signing considering he was free, him and Kirchhoff have developed a mean CB partnership.

Fabio - 3m. Signed after his loan spell. Terrific attacking fullback with good potential.

Capoue - £13m. Dominant player, really drives the team on. Excellent DM.

Benat - £16m. My DLP. Keeps the ball rolling and always instigates the attack.

Lamela - £18m. Don't need to say much about this guy, special talent.

Pastore - £15m. His stats are insane, PSG weren't playing him for some odd reason so I signed him on loan during my second season and bought him at the start of the third after an pre agreed fee. Due to his excellent physique, high technical stats and above average mental stats he easily dominates games, producing moments of magic now and then (given him a free role).

Granero - already at club. My set piece specialist, has been a revelation in all 3 seasons. Just doesn't stop producing.

Bony - £15m. I love this guy on the game. Scored around 30 goals for me in his first season and now he's well on his way to do that again.

Majority of this QPR team won me the title in my second season! Now I'm in the CL, had Bayern in my group. A park the bus tactic at theirs got me a 1-0 victory then when they came to the almighty Loftus Road I managed to destroy them. 3-0 scoreline didn't reflect how dominant we were.

Lamela is fantastic, i got him for 8 million also, because Roma got relegated, also bought Gianluca Caprari for 7 million and sold him to City 3 seasons later for 32 million.

Don't know how far in the game you are, but if you can try and get Xhaka, he is a fantastic passing midfielder. The perfect midfielder Barcelona would want, for me he has 19 composure, 20 passing, 16 creativity, 18 first touch, 18 team player, 16 stamina, those main stats alone make him a class player.

I just have him as a deep lying playmaker, he plays fantastic.

Oh I've done that a long time ago, I still end up having over 10 long shots in some games. It's a known bug in the ME, they're trying to fix it.

It happens mostly with possession based tactics. Otherwise you're fine.

WTF they still do it? well i remember i used to play this tactic i downloaded, (i now make my own tactics however) and i imported it into this FM it's play like arsenal and dominate posession, and my team where constantly having long shots, so fucking annoying.

Must be a bug then, but as i found out about the show instructions, i coincidently changed the formation and made my very own 'counter' formation, and i love it.

I love ball playing defenders and penetrating wing backs, if you ever play counter, get a defender who has good passing, they make so much of a difference, the amount of times they resume play it's amazing. I've won lots of 6-0 games this season, my team is just too good to defend against, of course i have the risk of my midfield not playing well such as ball winning midfielder and then coneding, but overall i have faith in my team.

If your players have the preferred move 'shoots from distance' then it will override any instructions to not shoot from range. Would be worth checking and having them unlearn if they do.

Here are two of my best players right now Rodrigo and Cavani, just look how good they've been this season. Bizarre stats.

The last one is my best prospect, already a beast at the age of 18 and will only improve in the coming seasons.

The regen looks quality for 18. Finding amazing regens is one of the main attractions of playing long term saves for me.

I started a save last week while I was out of work sick and got Brighton promoted. I was just poaching from Brazil (Adryan and Ademilson) and also from Barca B (Kiko Femenia). Barely got to play Ademilson due to youth tournaments but Adryan and Kiko were brilliant, Kiko won player of the season. If your managing a lower prem or championship team I suggest keeping an eye on Barca B, they seem to transfer list some of their best players i.e Kiko, Rafinha, Bartra, Fontas, Dongou etc.

I started playing it again after the last update thinking they fixed it but while it's not fixed it seems to work better then when it was first released :/

I RESURRECTED THE FM THREAD

For Rmpr, I have got a database update thing and it gives Chelsea like 50 m budget for title challenge and use installments

Also xPetrCechx it seems I got off lightly then by rejecting Jovetic's proposed transfer and getting De Rossi haha, Fiorentina were desperate not to sell I'm guessing

Thing is, they actually don't (accept for Taarabt, but he's on the bench). It's a bug, which they've fixed a bit with a few updates but they're fixing it indefinitely next time they roll out a major update (hopefully).

I've decided I want to start a new game in the Championship. Leaning towards Blackpool or Watford... Potentially Ipswich too... Any recommended teams for the CL?
