BREAKING NEWS: Liverpool and Dortmund have reached an agreement over the transfer of Reus. They've agreed it's never going to happen. [emoji23]

It reminds me the day when we signed Hector and Djilobodji on the same day.

What the fuck? After being one of the best midfielders in the Bundesliga this year, I honestly think he should have a say in his future. I'm pretty sure he would be happy either returning to Chelsea o

The likes of Wolves, Everton, and Leeds out here signing players for huge money. Power of the PL £££.

What a ridiculously competetive season this will be.

Would be a decent alternative.  Cheaper than Mendy for sure.  i hear Areola is a yolo gk like a willy who makes world class saves and basic mistakes. By chance I have only seen his good games

Yep, also i think he just recently purchased a house in london.

Highly-rated Chelsea youngster Samuel Iling-Junior set to sign for Juventus — report

Looking for better pathways to senior-team football

U17 England v U17 Germany - International Friendly

A couple months back, there were reports that Juventus were leading the race to sign Chelsea’s highly-rated youngster Samuel Iling-Junior, and now, they are apparently close to signing the 16-year-old.

According to Goal Italia, the Chelsea U18 player has already been in Turin for the past few days, and only the final details are left to be sorted out. The Old Lady have beaten out clubs like Ajax, Schalke 04, Bayern Munich and PSG for the kid’s signature. As reported earlier, Chelsea did make an offer of a professional contract as well (which the kid could sign once he turned 17), but it looks like his mind had already been swayed.

Primarily a left winger, Iling-Junior made 8 appearances in the U18 Premier League and 3 appearances in the UEFA Youth League this season. He represents England’s U17 side at the international level and has often been touted to be a future star in the making.

Losing him would no doubt be a blow to the Blues, but with the likes of Christian Pulisic and Callum Hudson-Odoi already at the club, as well as Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner joining us next season, it is only logical that the youngster has chosen a club that he believes will provide a less daunting path to senior-team football. Juventus do not have a good track record of promoting youngsters, but there’s a good chance that they have agreed to provide other incentives as well.

In any case, all the best for your next endeavor, Samuel!

I so hope they do not get him, as their 2 LB's (Shaw and the right-footed Williams) are a major weakness in their lineup

If you do not count Theo Hernández (as I do not think he is leaving at all)

there are very few true quality upgrades left on the board

Sergio Reguilón
Alex Telles
Robin Gosens
Nicolás Tagliafico
Ramy Bensebaini
Pervis Estupiñán

Alejandro Grimaldo
Luca Pellegrini
Alex Sandro  (30yo in 3 and a half months, after this window closes he is gone from all lists)
José Gayà   (100m euro release clause)

then 2 teens

Rayan Aït Nouri  (19)
Nuno Mendes  (18) <<<<<<< I would buy him next summer, when Alonso goes. Surely he must go by then)
