Great footballer, but still questionable defensively. Sure it might not have been a penalty any other day, but it's not a coincidence that this kind of things keeps happening to Luiz. He was absolutely amazing in the 2nd half though. He can probably play higher up the pitch just as well.

What I'm worried about is that it doesn't take a player long to develop a certain reputation. If he keeps giving away these silly fouls, it's only a matter of time before more refs start awarding decisons against him without giving him the benefit of doubt they'd give to someone else who doesn't have the 'clumsy' tag after his name.

He was very nervous today, gave away a really really stupid penalty. And yes he is a clumsy defender whether we like it or not.

He nearly got released by Victoria at 14 because of poor displays at DM. He's a centre half end off.

2 of the 3 pens he gave away were not pens, Alex made a horrific mistake against WBA then gave away a stupid penalty against Fulham but no one is bashing him.
