Romelu Lukaku

He is our Manager are you f*ucking serious? You want Abramovic to manage our team?

I mean he could drive the f*cking player bus down a canyon and you'd still applaud him. There's no criticism towards his decisions whatsoever. Even worse, anyone who does dare to critisize him is being bashed for a "Belgium fan boy" or whatever. Anyone criticizing (or however the f*ck you write that word) Mourinho couldn't possibly be a Chelsea fan right?

I wonder how you would've reactied if it were Benitez who brought in veterans like Eto'o and Drogba for strikers. Sell Mata to United. Allow for Lukaku to go out on loan when we had zero options in attack. And so on.

Perspective.

From that article :

So let me get this straight - Mourinho actually doesn't have an opinion on Lukaku's attributes/skillset and relied only on his personal equation with him in looking to move him on. The same Mourinho who released Lampard and Essien; the same Mourinho who signed Eto'o for Inter and Fabregas for Chelsea not long after those players had some not very nice things to say about him. Yup, totally makes sense.

Mourinho didn't get to the very, very top of his profession by holding grudges against 20 year olds.

Agreed. IMO It has nothing to do with Mourinho's apparent "grudge" against Lukaku (one that has been over exaggerated by the media tenfold). I think Romelu just wants to go to a decent club where he's undisputed number one and CFC have thus sold an asset that doesn't really want to be here for a very good price, which is fine for all parties involved.

Maybe Jose wants to get rid of Torres and Lukaku so that we can afford Cavani?

Costa/Cavani/Drogba looks really dangerous!

The question here is why would Cavani join a team playing with one striker when Costa and Drogba have just been bought. Only one of three can start the game and players like Cavani or Costa don't join teams to become a 30 minute sub.

I criticised Mourinho for some games last season but I support him with this move as I have with others and vice versa. I call it how I see it. The Lukaku sale has nothing to do with people blindly following Mourinho, people can think for themselves you do know that?
