If we didn't have 2 great strikers such as Torres and Sturridge I would say yes without thinking, but now...not so sure.

I don't think he's a Chelsea fan. I think he likes the club and that only/mostly because his favourite player plays at that club (there's a big difference between the two). Yes he is wearing a Chelsea shirt but I bet Drogba's name is on the back and I've seen many people, some of them friends, wearing Chelsea-related items but aren't fans.

And he's always been linked with Chelsea yet I remember him saying that joining Real would be a dream come true for him or him recently saying that he wants to join a club in the top three of England.

There was a poster who'd said he had a meeting with his parents a few nights ago and that's when he withdrew from the squad. I don't know how far true that is, if we're to go on the popular rumour, you could be right Alex.

Certainly seems more likely because he said he wants his future resolved by Monday.
