Good point about Essien, Carvalho and Joe Cole being available. There are some players who go the extra mile.
-
Joan Terry ? Wonder if she/he is any good at marshalling a defence
-
Most pitches will be OK they get covered, undersoil heating etc but guaranteed some games will be off.

KINNEAR ACCIDENTALLY CALLS TEAM 'SHITCASTLE' NEWCASTLE United boss Joe Kinnear was left red-faced yesterday after accidentally calling his team 'Shitcastle'. Can Shitcastle recpature the glory days of Peter Steptoe-Face?With the club just two points above the drop zone and without a win in seven games, Kinnear said morale was low but he was certain that 'Shitcastle United' would avoid relegation. Following Wednesday's defeat at Manchester City, the manager told Sky Sports: "We face a tough couple of months after injuries to Michael Rubbish and Joey Criminal. We're just lucky no-one has made a decent offer, as yet, for Shay Over-Rated." Kinnear then added: "It is difficult being the manager of Shitcastle. There's a lot of pressure from the fans who look back on the days of Kevin Mental with so much pride. "They remember players like David French-Ponce, Alan Tedious, Peter Steptoe-Face, and of course David Batty." Kinnear later corrected himself insisting he had a habit of mispronouncing names, adding: "I did exactly the same thing when I was manager of Wimblethugs, Luton Trounced and Nottingham Fuckwits. "Sadly, this just smacks of a desperate attempt by me to finally get the sack."

Bosingwa struck a blow for common sense. Hate all that play to the corner flag bollocks, should be ungentlemanly conduct in my book
-
Kenyon, Greenberg, Buck, Barnett, Arnesen, Seats, Sidddahhn ! Stewards, wanky tourists,Chelsea village, for starters.
-
Card rescinded. If it was Gerrard, the game would have been replayed, and Liverpool given 3 points , £10m in compensation, and two minutes silence before the next game

Lol is he German ? Must admit I have my doubts ,Mourinho stated in a press conference that he didn't pick him because he is lazy and doesn't work for the team. Maybe BP can get the best out of him....
-
Stoch has certainly shown enthusiastic promise. Hopefully Quaresma will do well, hes played under BP before. He couldnt wait to get away from the Inter fans who were giving him a hard time, and Mourinho is hopefully letting him go because of this, not because hes pants....
-
Well looks like he signed - might take a while to fit into the Prem
-
Only played 12 times this season, and regularly booed by Inter fans. Should feel right at home at the Bridge then....
-
Yeah I stopped to chuck snowballs as well. Someones built a snowman in the carpark with a carrot for a knob.
-
Quite a lot about today, London and lot of the UKat a standstill....whats it like where you are ? Snow Joke
-
Carving a niche alright, with a great big Nought, for no trophies. I have major concerns. With one point from five matches against the Prem elite, Juventus must be licking their lips. Wins against the mighty Southend, Stoke, Ipswich and Boro has given Large Phil a reprieve, but when hes says things like ''Liverpool is a must win game'' and yet plays the identical front three when liverpool won at the Bridge, you have to wonder at the blokes sanity.....
-
Agree with that. Lack of wingers means a 4-4-2 should be played -whats so fucking difficult about that ? Its like Scolari makes the same mistake 6 or 7 times before something is changed. I'm going fucking mental about it...
-
Half time I thought we might have a chance. Can you imagine the team that would emerge after that first coma inducing 45 mins had Mourinho been in charge ? Instead, they come out with the same attitude and the Liverpool players had been instructed by the fat waiter to damage our one creative player, Kalou. Red ''Uselesscunt'' Riley decided to ignore this, and send Lampard off instead. We are missing a Robben, Duff, Joe Cole player, and had it not been for some sterling blocks by Alex it could have been a massive defeat. We've had 3 managers in 16 months -I fancy a fourth. Scolari is not up to it. For me he is acting and building up his fat retirement fund. When ever anything goes tits up, he turns away all McClarenesque, with his hands in his pockets, defeated. Then a simpering smile and shrug of the shoulders in the post match interview. He, and Manc cunt Kenyon can fuck right off as far as I'm concerned. Zola and Clarke are wasted on the Pikeys, would love them, or the bloke who would really do it for us would be David Moyes.

Highlight of the match -was laughing like a drain. And then Mike ''I'mauselesscuntatthebestoftimes''Riley saying calm down. Quality refereeing.

Roman Abramovich owes Chelsea fans some answers An indication of Chelsea supporters' fears over the club's future is eloquently contained in an open letter sent by a lifelong fan to Roman Abramovich this week. By Henry Winter Last Updated: 8:46AM GMT 30 Jan 2009 Seeking clarification: Roman Abramovich has been given an unltimatum by a lifelong Chelsea fan Photo: GETTY IMAGES The angry missive reflects rising terrace concern over the squad's lack of depth and doubts about the owner's commitment. During the transfer window Chelsea have lost top-class understudies in Wayne Bridge and Carlo Cudicini and, as yet, no one has come in. Bridge sources point out that Abramovich simply wants Chelsea to be more self-sufficient, generating income rather than relying on his largesse. Oligarchs are also being discouraged by the Kremlin from parading their wealth at a time of widespread hardship in Russia. But with Manchester United threatening to disappear over the horizon, and Chelsea over-reliant on Frank Lampard, Luiz Felipe Scolari could do with some money to spend, whatever the coach's protestations that he is happy with his playing options. He can't be. Chelsea are a couple of metatarsals away from meltdown. So why is Abramovich not sanctioning transfers? What are his plans for the club? One supporter sought clarification. "Most fans would understand if you said your finances had taken a major hit in the economic downturn, and that you are no longer able to fund the club,'' wrote Tony Russell, a Chelsea follower of 40 years' standing (and sitting). "But, Mr Abramovich, to have your management inform us that the squad doesn't need strengthening, and is good enough to mount a trophy-winning challenge, is not only preposterous, but quite frankly insulting. "You would do well to remember that whilst you might own the club legally, morally it belongs to the fans, who are its heart and soul. You should definitely not be playing fast and loose with our emotions or indeed insulting our intelligence. "I would like to reiterate my eternal gratitude for the brief spell of success you have brought to the club, but it's high time you came clean and informed us of your intentions, and either sell up or do the job properly.'' Chelsea fans owe Abramovich a lot – but he also owes them some answers. Telegraph Agree, what with reports of Ivanovich off to Fiorentina this morning and discarding Carlo and Bridge, the squad needs strengthening. By the same token you dont want to fuck the oligarch off too much, as he might (ha ha ha ) have some masterplan off bringing youth through the ranks.....

Bring back Gudjohnsens Girl - Incisive, intelligent contributions - ''OMG!! OMG ee iz soooo fit OMG''
-
Lol is that two blokes on the same team ?
-
Would normally agree with that , what with our recent performances, but the dippers have been shite recently as well, so if Drogs is on form maybe 3 points
-
He's definitely gone a bit special needs. Subs were bizarre as well -handing Keane the poison chalice, after taking Gerrard off. Also taking Torres, your best striker off when 0-1 up was risky. Notice a lot of Liverpool fans are wanting Rafa out now.....
-
Agree with most of that. With one of Anelka or Drogba alone though, the attack will be like a eunuch, and the dippers defence will cope. Whether Scolari will play both is doubtful, but it's a must win game. With Stoch and Kalou interweaving from the wings, goals would be scored....if only Essien was fit

No talks with Roman Abramovich yet, says Holger Heims

Its a five week gap for most people between payday, most people got paid the week before Christmas which explains the boro ticket surplus. The club 'tightening up' by making the players pay for their own meals and reducing their freebie ticket allocation is just petty. It explains the immediate loss of morale and point dropping. Things like that and letting Bridge and carlo go are just fucking idiotic in my book. Even West ham said they wouldnt let Bellamy go to the Yids because they are rivals, and dont want to upset the fans Yes, Abramovich has put money in -he wants it back interest free though. The consortium members made money slowly through property deals, Abramovich with other oligarchs put himself in the right place just as all Russias oil and gas was up for grabs at knockdown prices when communism collapsed, he didnt have to work for it. Instant £13 billion. So hes not that fussed about spunking £500 million away on a football club, painting or yacht. One thing is for sure, I dont think there will ever be a spending spree again like there was when he took over. The new consortium would however make immediate money available if they buy the club.
