  1. It's only losses on paper though. He's not going to sell his investments, so when the market bounces back (could be awhile) he'll regain the losses which are temporary. Just means he has to tighten his belt a bit, maybe have five instead of six super yachts. Reducing costs at SW6 is small change to what he actually owns, but his ''advisors'', have probably told him to have wholesale cuts on all his assets.
  2. According to the Chels website Huge Phil used to take them swimming on Mondays after a match. LMFAO!! Deco was allowed to bring his blow up dinosaur, and Malouda his water wings. Then they were allowed to go to a zoo petting park and have an ice cream. Probably.
  3. No its not Brentford or Kingstonian Seattle Shirt Selling
  4. Still a Chelsea player and wants to come back. Seems to do better in the Bundesligue though.... Noooooooooooooo !!!!!
  5. Yeah catching up on old times....strong possibility ...or she was catching her breath as he shimmied and swivelled, dummied her defence, then rifled a volley between her posts.
  6. Quite funny how its all over the tabloids, with loads of people and politicians moralising ''how disgusting etc''. I find it more disgusting how you get all these rich old politicians with twenty something wives
  7. "The style of how we play is very important. But it is omelettes and eggs. No eggs - no omelettes! It depends on the quality of the eggs. In the supermarket you have class one, two or class three eggs and some are more expensive than others and some give you better omelettes. So when the class one eggs are in Waitrose and you cannot go there, you have a problem." I suppose the other thing is even Waitrose eggs have a shelf life.....
  8. He won it though. "There are only two ways for me to leave Chelsea. One way is in June 2010 when I finish my contract and if the club doesn't give me a new one. It is the end of my contract and I am out. The second way is for Chelsea to sack me. The way of the manager leaving the club by deciding to walk away, no chance! I will never do this to Chelsea supporters'' Bloke is a genius in some respects. Abramovich needs to do some serious grovelling to get him back. **His home league record since February 2002 is played 109, Won 90 Drawn 19. Phenomenal.**
  9. Well hes shagged a few other women since shes been with him, I suppose she couldnt trust him anymore. Hope his game doesnt suffer because of this. Shes been on at him for ages to shed a few pounds, in the end she said ''enoughs enough fatty''
  10. Done. In answer to your question CJ -I think, like most people there is a an ageing squad , some who have already won things and got the T shirt, and perhaps dont have the hunger to go on. All multi millionaires, set up for life financially, and are fairly content to drift along. The press would have us believe that this is down to Abramovich wanting instant success. There is probably some truth in this, and although Abramovich has made Chelsea the club they are, I dont think he has that much knowledge about football tbh. he rules the club in an autocratic way. His lawyer is the club chairman ffs. He could learn some things from ManUtd and Arsenal whereby you dont interfere with the manager, you let them control who comes and goes, and let them control the day to day occurences on the training ground -and both Ferguson and Wenger incorporate a blend of experience and youth with long term aims. On the positive the club will probably adopt this idea now, with Hiddink and the next manager hopefully usoing some our vastly talented youth. -but whether Abramonvich leaves the day to day running of the squad alone remains to be seen....
  11. Rebuilding will be done in the Summer, Hiddink will make the best of what he has, and if he gets some kind of silverware, then that will have a marked effect. The economic situation will have some bearing as well -if there are greenshoots of recovery, Abramovich will obviously feel like putting his hand in his pocket, and the current policy will be changed Regardless of that, I cant see five or six being here for the start of 2009-10. Youngsters need to be given chances and told in the Summer what's expected, and arnesen needs to start justifying his existence along with 250+scouts to unearth some new players with real potential.
  12. Be difficult to manage financially and emotionally. But people can breed at age 11,12, 13 so no no surprise really....
  13. Good Luck Ray. Lets not forget he was a Chelsea 'Great' our youngest ever captain, scored some fantastic goals for England as well..... Come on Chels
  14. Harry Harris on BBC Radio 5 Live this morning. Pikeys ringing in saying they're not renewing their season tickets in protest
  15. Were interviewed by Abramovich last week according to Harry Harris on BBC R5. They are the managers 2009/10 season, nailed on.
  16. Well he should have got better results then shouldnt he ? Source please.
  17. Real Madrid are heavily subsidised by the Spanish government. Man Utd owners owe more than they are worth -the list is essentially meaningless. Even when a club is 'rich' it just means it usually charges the fans more.
  18. Win at Watford. Lose to Villa. Boooooooos ring round the Bridge as Juventus win , along with ''You dont know what you're doing'' when its 0-0 half time against Wigan. Club sacks him, gives him £5 million in compensation, and in their usual panic get in Sam Allardyce ''till the end of the season''. Probably.
  19. Was definitely one for the future. -as far as slowing his development, hopefully it's just put on temporary hold. There is a danger that 40-50% of players are never the same after a leg break, but to his advantage he has age on his side.
  20. Lol nice one TB. Love the way hes mentioned, (his agent prostituting him) when any vacancy appears, yet hes been unemployed since leaving us...
  21. Well said DV. That, and no 'inside ' Chelsea man with Clarke gone. I like Ray Wilkins, hes Chelsea but hes more of a Chelsea TV, media man. I watched him play countless times, and he was the Lampard of his day -but even his style was laid back as well.
  22. Agree. Terry didnt mask the revolt by saying he supported Scolari ''along with two or three other players''. Older players who now manage, or have written their autobiographies, always seem to regret the dressing room revolutions against their managers, saying they were counter productive. Scolari may have been able to develop the team, but time is of the essence, and he seemed too laid back for any respect or belief to be formed by the squad.
