  1. You're quite right Yougs Please accept this Golden Fan award
  2. Managers are generally greatly overated, and many players will tell you when they get on the pitch they do their own thing anyway. If you notice, the good managers always manage to motivate players psychologically -after all the players are generally all good enough and are there on merit or they wouldnt have been picked up by the scouting network. Good managers are also there on reputation, and are tactically aware, though this is often not such a necessity. Carlo has a good reputation, is respected by the players, probably not the best psychological motivator, but is tactically spot on most of the time.
  3. Throbbing head from Champagne and beer but its worth it... I've put Sky on and they keep saying Chelseas first title for four years like its some kind of trophy desert. yeah, but that's 3 each with Yernited in the last 6 years right? er...who got the golden boot? who got the best goal difference ? and who scored the most goals ever? Sky are full of redshites...but we are Champions.... hope you all celebrated in style ?
  4. Theres no way the players will let this slip away now. Could be sqeaky bun time if theres only one goal in it with twenty minites to go though ! What fucks me off is the media constantly banging on about 'can Wigan do Utd a favour ?' All the fucking time , and not one, not a solitary mention about can Stoke do anything at the Theatre of Shit. Grrrrr. Triple Grrrrrrr
  5. I can understand anyone who didnt live and experience the Thatcher years wanting a change. The reality is though the Conservatives only care about the rich, and selling everything off. Every four or five years we get the chance to say do we want Bold or Persil, this millionaire or that one -the reality is it doesnt make the slightest difference to our lives. All they care about is themselves, and the majority of people get shafted They rule by getting the millions of ordinary people to fight and squabble amongst themselves be it immigration, the colour of your skin, or some other petty difference. Under the Tories we had; Record inflation Record unemployment The Poll Tax Riots in the streets The mining industry shut down Manufacturing industry shut down Everywhere except the south east left to rot A neglected NHS on the cusp of privatisation Schools where parents were left to buy the books. The cheap sale of nationalised industries to the private sector. The cheap sale of our social housing stock to the private sector Not saying Labour are any better but how any ordinary people can vote for these posh, privileged bunch of cunts who look upon us with complete disdain is beyond me http://thequintessential.files.wordpress.com/2009/02/bullingdon-club.jpg
  6. Top striker when fit, Crespoesque but dont think this will happen -silly money for a shemale that will spend most of his/her time in the stands due to injury. I would also resent giving the bindippers a fat wad of cash....
  7. Know what you mean -have a slight nauseous feeling the same as before we played the murderers last week. I notice the Wigan players are mouthing off, and the press are calling for them to do Yernited a favour...reality is our squad will keep a cool head, take our time and batter them. I cant go, but am not looking forward to Skys coverage -Yernited will probably take the lead first against Stoke and Sky will be saying ''as it stands at the moment , United are Champions etc etc'' Chelsea will be Champions come 6.00pm Sunday though
  8. Better, only, slightly that the yids qualified -best scenario now is that they get knocked straight out of the qualifiers. Wonder if Mark Hughes has stopped laughing yet ?
  9. ...sealed the first league win that I ever saw..... ....and forty years ago yesterday Chelsea Football Club was put back on the map, as Ossie and Co. restored our pride by clinching FA Cup glory at Old Trafford in the first FA cup win I ever saw ..Happy memories
  10. Thought there was plenty to be optimistic for the future there - tempted for the return leg, tickets still available
  11. Will score and win for the return leg -lets have a few less stepovers though
  12. Well done to Fulham - and Hodgson should get manager of the season. Dont really see them as rivals -and........ Friday confession time, used to watch them on alternate Saturdays when Chelsea were away when I were knee high to a grasshopper
  13. They will cause problems if they fly out like they did for the first half against Athletico. At the end last night though, they were battered -and a big decider on HOW they play will be the the preceding results for fourth spot. I am confident that Chelsea will win....
  14. So true...heard some post match radio and they seemed more concerned that Chelsea need to drop points at Anfield for United to secure the league. Media are cunts of the highest order generally. Oh they also said ''Arsenal have always played pretty football, but Chelsea are getting there''......
  15. Seven is just soooooooooo boring now. Should have been eight. If only that had the bindippers game , with the Stoke one next, we would have batterd them yesterday. Oh well, hopefully Carlo can keep the line up, and the scallies will get a hiding up there as well
  16. Think its a given United will win.... Since 1993 the yids have played the top four 66 times away.....amd never won
  17. Forgot about Pilkington, classic, those podcasts... That Waco stuff that Hicks did was spot on -another reason why he could have been bumped off- exposed how the DEA and FBI massacred that cult. They were mentalists, but didnt deserve to be wiped out like that.
  18. Definitely agree with that. Genius, and tragic his life was cut short at such an early age with Pancreatic cancer. Or was it ? Loads of speculation that the Yank govt bumped him off. He was so radical, stuff about drugs, Bush seniors wife, and the first Iraq invasion, that was just as relevant for the second invasion. Total embarassment to the US Govt. Also like Bill Bailey, Eddie Izzard, Mark Thomas, Gervais n Merchant....
  19. This is on some Liverpool forums; Gerrard moving abroad in the summer because his wife's having an affair with a Derby County player and he's got a 16 year old pregnant, and she's keeping it. Apparently everyone in Liverpool has already accepted that he's going. He's in court at the moment trying to stop it all coming out so Capello doesn't kick him out of the world cup squad. Amazing if these alleged facts are true - and could help our game there........
  20. I have an optimistic feeling we will come out all guns blazing for these last 3 games. As someone said , looks like Essien could feature as Mikel has a knee injury ....
  21. Look at the timimg of this 'release' . Its coincided with a chance to undermine our last games and squad -ie Mourinho rates Utd more' Load of Ballacks
  22. True. It will be a different squad for 2010-11 win or lose the league -if thats what the scarheaded one is saying, hes good at stating the bleeding obvious. This is the same bloke that said ''you dont win anything with kids'' just before United went on a spree of Premier League titles....
  23. The way this season has gone wouldnt be that surprised if you turn us over and United win at City. It was gutting Gudjohnsens decision initially, but it just confirms that there are probably less than 1% of professional players that arent driven by money, and have no loyalty whatsoever to their clubs, badge kissing is usually hypocritical, and just to please the fans. Cynicism aside, think it will be a close game, thought it was at your place not the Bridge ? -and yes, I expect Rednapp will play him if hes any sense...
  24. If..we win the league where do you want to win it, SB or Anfield ...? I want a guard of honour at Anfield
