No Wilkins, Terry, Lampard, Alex, no spirit. Oh and the ref that sent off Essien thanks a fuckin bunch. There were far worse unpunished challenges flying about yesterday
-
Glad I wasnt there. They deserved to win -
-
Cowards -just like when they were chucking beer on kids and abusing families outside 3 point lane
-

Ray Wilkins leaves with immediate effect
Fulham Broadway replied to BlueLion.'s topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Bad week all in all down SW6 way -JTs old man, SENs red, Frank too fat to play because hes been on the pies, or Chrsitine Bleakleys bitten his knob (what with all those teeth), and now uncle Ray. Watched him play as a lad, sorted his brothers (Grahame) tax affairs out. (He was a probably one of CFCs worst players by the way), but Ray, something else, becoming a real diplomat with th emedia as well. God knows what's going on behind the scenes, but above all else the timimg is fucking awful... -
Punching a young lad senseless on the street, battering a team mate unconscious, stubbing a fag out on a youth players eye -how many chances would you get in your job ??? scousescum....
-
An accurate reflection there Blue Lion -you have a bit of a typo though ''Nicholas Anelka forced good saves out of Nicholas Anelka'' Basically Carlo fucked up - Drogba should have been on from the start -should have sent on Brains (Kalou) as a supersub and Malouda should have been bollocked after 10 mins for playing so deep. Fair play to Torres though -took his chances very well. Its a must win against Fulham now....

Disgusting that the Lib Dems are going against what they said before they sucked satans cock and signed a deal with the tories. Its alright for the Camerons, Cleggs and other multi millionaires they had their degrees for free

Ancelotti - Anelka in 'form of his life'
Fulham Broadway replied to BlueLion.'s topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Yup he's better through the middle, but still effective when out wide -especially on the left -you know hes going to cut in, past one then another defender before unleashing, but its still works :eyebrows: -
Think Napoli got complacent last night -Gerrard can be good on his day, but will be neutralised by our midfield. Looks as though Malouda is out unfortunately -really need to get at them down the flanks, but Zhirkov has hit a rich vein of form, and Kalou has form up there

http://www.chelseafc.com/page/LatestNews/0,,10268~2198822,00.html Will piss off a lot of travelling fans. Matbe the club could do what they did a while ago when the Everton game was moved to a Thursday ? That was brilliant -free travel and they refunded a lot of ticket prices. Another example of Murdochs empire controlling football. Then his tabloids keep the soap opera going off the pitch as well with all the stories of players shagging and their personal lives.....sigh
-
Agreed Frank. All the baggage that comes with him, guaranteed the media would be poking in every corner, and his temprament we could do without. Always thought was overated to a degree as well....
-
Agree with that bwad bwoy. To me no need to risk Sen or even JT on that plastic pitch. Give all the kids a shot as winning not that neccesary...
-
Cheers for those Vincent. Mixed memories. The pitch could be a bog sometimes, and there were proper tackles flying about. Had a few top players Clive Walker, Ray Wilkins, Fillery etc -but Geoff Hurst was rubbish as manager. oh and the Den was a scary place to visit....

Just in case plans have been made http://www.chelseafc.com/page/LatestNews/0,,10268~2175822,00.html ...all bow to Sky TV
-
Done. Thats quite a bit of memorabilia there. Always remember in close season in the 70s, the English football pools used to switch to Australia. There was a Chelsea in Victoria Div 3, but theye were rubbish

Quite funny -and true ! http://www.thechels.tv/2010/09/arsenal-choose-chelsea/

5 things to learn from the MCFC defeat
Fulham Broadway replied to BLionheart's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Sturridge will be offloaded at the end of the season imo. West Ham or the Yids will get him, another Carlton Cole. Not World class. Yes losing to Man City was painful, but I could see it happening. Tevez is one of the best -and someone at SW 6 should have done some research to check that it was his mums birthday. That said, losing to them is not as bad as losing to West Brom at home or drawing at Bolton.... -
It is a bit of sensational journalism -''ohh lets write its the Fall of Roman empire'' etc after one defeat. Good Grief ! But to be fair, Oliver Holt who writes for the Mirror is usually spot on with his analysis of Chelsea. Lets laugh at Liverpool instead ! Not only the result but 17 000 attendance. looks like the Asians and irish have abandoned their beloved Liverpool now as well. Oh no, hang on it was a stay away protest at Gillette and Hicks. Yeah Right.

Out of the Carling Cup - one less distraction?
Fulham Broadway replied to BlueLion.'s topic in Matthew Harding Stand
I dont think anyone wanted to go out last night,-in fact it was a post that denied the win with Ferreiras effort. He was pony most of the game though, and was partly responsible for two of their goals. Sturridge needs to focus if hes ever going to be in the same league as Drogba or Anelka. Impressed with most of the youngsters, though gaps were left that powerful players like their Amoeba could exploit. Mceachran is going to be some player -what strikes me is his coolness on the ball -only 17 FFS !! All in all I blame Drogba -when ever a player talks about the quad, theres an immediate fuck up..... -
Again, as against Zilna the passing was frightening at times, unbeleivable, and could quite easily have ended in double figure score line. Their fans chanting ''Can we Play you every week ?'' when 4-0 down made me laugh.....
-
Yes he did -he was a bit erratic for the Dippers, could come on and change a game, but other times was anonymous or regularly gave the ball away. However, that was probably more down to Tubby benitez lack of discipline, and it wont be tolerated at SW 6. Some of the passing was frightening last night , fast incisive -I know they were lesser opposition , but incredible speed and awareness on display. We have an excellent squad for rotation now -and as you say, if Ivanovich and Zhirkov get a bit ropey theres Cole and Bosingwa to come back. As a prediction I would say a domestic double is readily attainable again -but watching Barca destroy the Greeks , they could be the main obstacle to CL....also hate to say it but Le Arse looked devastating as well. But I think we have the measure of them these days
-
5 games 23 goals scored 2 goals conceded -lookin' good. Last night Cech seemed a bit fragile, and it seems all the opposition needs to do is send in high balls at angles to bypass the midfield. Prem managers are probably planning this tactic right now ! However foot was taken off the gas, so all in all good performance.....
-
Ancellotti seems an excellent man manager, more understated than Mourinho, and will try to instil confidence in the 'newbies' out of Cech, Ivanovic, Terry, Alex, Zhirkov, Essien, Benayoun, Mikel, Sturridge, Malouda, Anelka Can see Benayoun coming off and Ramires on probably, but we'll see.....
-
Like a knife through butter Kez -youre spot on as usual. i agree they wont go, just think they should. Those stats say it all really. it comes down to a load of media hacks that didnt go to games in the 70s and 80s but watched Liverpool and Manutd on the BBC and ITV win trophies and are now in a position to sway peoples opinions with their beloved Gerrards and Rooneys....
