After the recent frustrating catalogue of near misses i'm expecting an emphatic win, and am going to back this up with a hefty wager at the bookies....

Hasselbaink was good but wouldnt cut todays top matches. Drogba hands down....

Him and Frankie Boyle top comedians -didnt know he was Chelsea -makes it better! -
They should - some other clubs do. Maybe the Talkchelsea shop could do some like this one as well http://www.london-bo...uk/xmascard.htm

Few here quite good like this one http://www.london-books.co.uk/xmascard5.htm

''And thats after 1 broken coffee table (not mine) 1 Everton fans jaw, my hand, countless doors and some plaster walls throughout the house... and i won't even bring up the road rage....'' Blimey , and I thought I had anger management problems Good points Gary -agree with almost all of that -when Terry and Lampard come back -there is a steely composure and the goal attempts will go in. Reckon some team could be picking the ball out the net several times any match soon...
-
The geezer on vital Chelsea makes some good points -he says we went up there 'with a depleted squad and werent expected to win'. Well thats pretty negative -lets not forget the barcodes had their two regular centre backs out as well. Reality is, we had something like 20 attempts on goal and they're not going in at the moment. Henrique - I dont know you -but I agree everyone is entitled to their opinions. I think the problem arises when someone states their opinion -but puts it across in a way that they feel is the gospel truth. ......in my opinion.

Is he related to Micky ?

I have a serious problem with Carlo

Also dont overestimate the importance of managers. Loads of players have said the same, Terry, Gerrard, lampard,, -when they get out on the pitch the manager is near enough irrelevant, no one pays any attention to them. Unless a manager is good at psychologically motivating players Mourinho, Ferguson -teams are only as good as their squad. -
Mikel was thinking about getting a 150" plasma or something -Ramires seems to be improving - Anelka has gone off the boil a bit -and imo Sturridge is simply not good enough and will end up at West Ham. On the positive- the chances we are creating -something like 20 again ? -some team is going to get hammered soon -hopefully the yids or Yernited......
-
Quite similar to Brum -there were countless chances to put this game to bed. The loss of Wilkins and Terry and Lampard leaves a load of autonomous individuals temporarily -more team tactics need to be emphasised and emloyed. I know that some people scoff at the importance of Wilkins, but the fact that he could speak fluent Italian was of massive importance in my humble opinion.
-
Mourinho will get done for this. If you're going to cheat do it surrepticiously. It was bit fucking obvious with Ramos shaking hands with the ref.... Carlo should have sent on Mikel to get his 3rd yellow against Zilina, so he misses the Marseille game...
-
Right -No fucking excuses - with their two centre backs out nothing but a win to put us back on top -(assuming yernited or the goons win) -of the table.
-
Agree kalou can be frustrating -but can also be devastating -personally I would tend to use him as a sub/impact player with 20-30 mins to go. All players have matches when they are under par for some reason or another. Look at Shrek for Yernited last night -apart from the penalty he was like a Sunday League player. Mourinho had that unifying knack, that superceded any individual performance -at the end of the day its a team gameand thats where the emphasis should be - as for booing players -Yes YOU cunts in the west stand -it is totally detrimental and divisive. :cfc: :toke: :cfc:

Didier Drogba has the biggest heart ever !

How refreshing to have a character like that in the Prem. Instead of silicon titted tarts, and flash motors, he devotes his money and energy to helping those less fortunate. Example to the rest.... -
Still, not as bad as losing 6-0 to Rotheram in 1982
-
'conquer' ?? - makes it sound like an invading army. Ok if thats the case .......reconnaisance is required, maybe from a couple of hilly vantage points, before strategic surgical strikes, then an almighty thrust into the centre followed by spraying with automatic fire
-
How did we get on ?
-
That will lift the gloom... What does concern me is playing two of the top four in the run up to Christmas with our 2 main fullbacks missing... as long as we dont start shippiong them in like Sunday. Is Bogarde still on the books ???
-
Yup thats what we played in my first junior team - 2 fullbacks, centre half, left and right half and 5 up front. Given that team for Brum..... Cech Ivanovich Bruma Boswinga Mikel Zhirkovic Kalou Anelka Drogba Kakuta Malouda Bring it on.....

You've managed to cheer me up LDN Blue - Hopefully one or both of Alex and JT are returned for the December games of Yids, ManU and Arse.
-
This season has just dissolved in the last week 10 days -what with Wilkins, injuries and SEN's suspension. Period of transition now , youth to step up -and could be fifth or sixth around Christmas. This I can take if the new players step up to the plate and perform later on. Might be wrong, but depends how long Alex and terry are out.... Realistically Terry, Lampard, Drogba and Anelka will be gone in a couple of years so a major revbuilding is neccesary -question is will Abramovich put his hand in his pocket again ?
-
Injury Latest - Terry, Sturridge & Romeu out injured.

Dont think we can recall mancienne -on a season loan. -
Not too sure panic stations is quite yet justified, given the absences. However I have a worrying doubt about the hole Ray Wilkins will have left, and the decision seems to be either very 'Russian' or rash at best. On the positive JT and probs Cole will miss the England farce....
