  1. Yes -see my previous post. Esk, I hear you were 30 a few days ago ? Listen you're a bit young for my team, but any chance you could bring your boots Sunday and play ? Yours Sincerely CA
  2. I think Ancellotti is a very talented manager in some respects, but as I said the Italian tradition could be an achilles heel. You're right about the tactical/substitutional mistakes,, and without a man of 38 years at the Bridge offering assistance he looks somewhat lost and needs Emanalo like a fish needs a bicycle. The problems lie deeper though -an autocratically run club through one man who has many other 'interests' -a board that are business people, and dont realise you need continuity at a club, resulting in dipping morale, and lack of forward planning in terms of reinvesting for the future. They also need to realise they would be high and dry without the fans....
  3. Lol you expect sense from the Chelsea board ? ''I have a really good idea lets sack Mourinho and bring in Avant a Clue, later on we can sack ray Wilkins '' , ''Brilliant Roman I like the sound of that'' .as they clap like seals and nod like dogs shown a card trick Gourlay, Buck et al are not real football people, Fuckwit Yesmen for the dollar.
  4. Mourinho always said 2 for every position, which makes sense in my book, We have the smallest squad in the Prem equal with Wigan or something last time I looked, and you couple that with an Italian manager whos footballing traditions equate to playing the 'old guard' and that explains a lot as to why we are where we are......
  5. It doesnt matter how much fantasy football is played on this site, as far as I can see the reason the 'youngsters' seem to be getting less time than expected is cultural. There is a long held tradition with Italian managers, be it Serie A or the national team of playing the established 'old guard' and a reluctance to blood new players.....
  6. Friend has texted me to say there are two massive banners opposite the entrance, so the players are bound to see them. One says ''Abramovich and Ancellotti OUT'' and the other ''You're Not Fit To Wear the Shirt'' Bit harsh.....
  7. They will probably play him at Right back soon
  8. Would agree with that. The only difficulty being when Alex, Ivanovich, Terry get injured/suspended they rely on people like Ferreira or Essien (who did a good job last time btw)
  9. Reports this morning he's going on loan to Hamburg. (OK its only goal.com and the German Telegraph) Now this might not be as mental as it sounds, it could mean theres a quality defender on the way. However knowing how Chelsea work they probably think now Boswingwas fit they can play Ferreira at centre back
  10. After the reserves trounced yids -be good to play some of them. This cup becomes important now, if only for a hatrick of wins. Any other team won 3 on the bounce ?
  11. It's more to do with attitude, which points to a deeper problem
  12. Look kids it's perfectly simple, just copy and paste the list, type IN or OUT and we'll see what TC members think.
  13. Simple poll , no analysis -who do you want in and out 1 Petr Cech IN 2 Branislav Ivanovic IN 3 Ashley Cole IN 5 Michael Essien IN 7 Ramires IN 8 Frank Lampard IN 10 Yossi Benayoun IN 11 Didier Drogba IN 12 Mikel IN 15 Florent Malouda OUT 17 Jose Bosingwa OUT 18 Yury Zhirkov IN 19 Paulo Ferreira OUT 21 Salomon Kalou OUT 22 Ross Turnbull OUT 23 Daniel Sturridge OUT 26 John Terry IN 33 Alex IN 38 Patrick van Aanholt IN 39 Nicolas Anelka OUT 40 Henrique Hilario OUT 43 Jeffrey Bruma IN 44 Gael Kakuta OUT 45 Fabio Borini OUT 46 Josh McEachran IN 15 in 10 out.
  14. Thats what really got to me -the obvious lack of commitment. Though I think this is over emphasised and highlighted by the lack of tactical nous being eluded from the bench. Not blaming Ancelloti -he looks a poor lost soul with no help. Gourlay, Buck, Abramovich - they need to take a good fucking look at themselves and what they've done with this corporate transformation. You cant just sack people willy nilly and think all the answers lay in expanding the megastore.
  15. .....on the positive -lets not forget Wolves have beaten Man City and Liverpool -and only lost at the Theatre of Shit to dubious injury time goals in League and League Cup... *whistles Always Look On The Bright Side of Life*
  16. That was Laudrups only goal for us ! The way we're playing at the moment think there might be a few Danish celebrations in Copenhagen next month....
  17. Was actually in the stand instead of the Shed for the Blackpool game, think finished 2-2. We were top. Nice one Vincent
  18. Exactly -smacks of Ben Haim, Sidwell, Pizzaro days. ''So when the class one eggs are in Waitrose and you cannot go there you have a problem..........''
  19. ''In fact, it seems your gob is about the only thing in your entire body that still appears to work'' ..and just because he's hair round it explains why he talks like a cunt as well
  20. No its not the sole reason, but it was the catalyst that allowed the rot to set in. 5 points clear and top at the end of October to this there has to be more. Players like Anelka and Ferriera are becoming predictable and ponderous on the ball -tactically we're slow to react to the ebb and flow of the game, (this is more marked without Wilkins input) and in a nutshell theres a a lack of sheer desire to put it in the onion bag. You know thats the case when you get Terry on surging runs. If Villa had been a bit more pro active today, like Sunderland were, they could have won. Theres not so much closing down of the opposition when they're on the ball -they have room to manoevre, and it's clear now that all the opposition from now on, Wolves and Copenhagen included will be buoyed by our (lack of) performance. Also the atmospheres getting worse -too many tourists/foreigners booing
  21. I dont think its a coincidence that theres been 1 win in 8 games since Wilkins went. He could speak Italian as well, a good conduit between Ancelotti and the team. Even if his tactical skills werent missed - , it would have depleted morale. Reminds me of Bates reign -''lets do what we can to fuck things up'' lol think there'd be a blue revolution involving empty seats if they appointed Rafa
  22. Wouldnt surprise me in the slightest if the board announced it though. There seems to be a Russian way of sacking/creating a staff of individuals who have no cohesion and seems to be driven by penny pinching The appointment of Emanalo, as Assistant Team Coach, (brought by Avram the Spastic from Maccabi) who has no input during games, leaves Ancelotti looking isolated and a man lost. As far as i'm concerned Grant can have him at Wetspam.
  23. It seems the board including Abramovich are content, or at least complacent about a dramatic slide. My own view is that its cost driven -it coincided with the economuc downturn when Abramovichs paper value in shares dropped. Then the cost cutting started, resulting in depletion of the squad and ridulous penny pinching, masked by the ' bringing on of youth '. Abramovich has got to start spending soon with some of the aged squad unable to keep up with Premiership pace soon Today it also became apparent that a lot of the players arent 'hungry'. Multimillionaires who've done it and got the T Shirt. Another thing -Emanalo- our ..er...Assistant Team Coach - brought on board by Avram Grant who he knew at Maccabi Tel Aviv. He sits there the whole game doing fuck all. Brilliant replacemnt for Wilkins.
