  1. Jaw-dropping fantastic. You really ought to get these poems of your's published, they're amazing.
  2. Spot on. How many last-minute winners did we get last year? Its come back round and bit us hard on the ass this season, but that's footie.
  3. No way will be get more than £20 million for Drogba. He's going to be 31 next season, and we'll be lucky to get in the region of £7/£8 million for Shevchenko. And Benzema's buy-out clause is in the region of £40 million after he signed his new contract extension. In addition, I think only the likes of Sidwell and Ben Haim will leave. Pizarro will hopefully stay and fight for his place, as maligned as he is, I very much like him. And in my opinion, with a Right-Back sorted, it seems to me all we now need is a winger, and possibly another striker. Personally, I would like to see Franch Ribery and Mirko Vucinic.
  4. Surprised at how quick this went through, actually. Good signing, I look forward to watching him this summer because I have seen little of him in truth.
  5. Congratulations to Adam.k, who is the Know The Score 2007/2008 Champion!

  7. So immensely proud of the boys. Absolutely brilliant over the season, unlucky today. Fucking Kevin Davies, he pissed me off Congratulations to United, they were the better team today. We'll get them back in Moscow.
  8. On another day, with a bit of fortune on our side, we could be going into next week's final with both the Community Shield and the Carling Cup. On another day, we may not have drew at home to Everton, Villa, Wigan and Bolton due to last-minute goals, and Spurs away, too, we could be Premier League champions. On another day, we'd have demolished Barnsley and reached the FA Cup semi-finals. Hindsight is a beautiful thing, and looking back at what we have achieved and what we still can win, you can't possibly say this season has been a poor one. Some fantastic memories, such as beating United, Arsenal and Liverpool, and Man City as well, and some pretty slick football when we needed to play. Avram has done okay - he has exceeded all expectation and will walk out of this job with respect from a lot of the Chelsea fans. Although at this moment in time, if I was told that Grant would stay put for another season, I would feel a lot more positive than had I been told that two or three months ago.
  9. What makes me smile is that two or three months ago, nobody could have seen this happening. We have proved everybody wrong to get where we are now, now that we are here, let's see how Man United cope under the spotlight.
  10. If it is money that Drogba wants, I would suggest we cough it up.
  11. Birmingham 0-2 Blackburn, 15:00 Chelsea 2-0 Bolton, 15:00 Derby 1-1 Reading, 15:00 Everton 1-1 Newcastle, 15:00 Middlesbrough 1-0 Man City, 15:00 Portsmouth 1-1 Fulham, 15:00 Sunderland 0-2 Arsenal, 15:00 Tottenham 1-1 Liverpool, 15:00 West Ham 1-0 Aston Villa, 15:00 Wigan 1-2 Man Utd, 15:00
  12. Whoever allowed them to do that is insane, but as long as no-one was hurt, doesn't bother me at all.
  13. Ribery! My god, if we clinched his signature it would be the best signing of the decade. Absolutely world-class player, imagine Ribery and Coley on the wings, with Kalou and Malouda as well...
  14. Decent player in my opinion, United are supposedly interested in him too. I see he is a back-up incase we fail to land either Alves or Sergio Ramos.
  15. Teams have come to Stamford Bridge and parked the bus before. They've had to stop off at the mechanics on the way home for repairs. We will find a way through.
  16. I'll hopefully be getting CHAMPIONS 08 on mine
  17. Jose had the midas touch. Besides, I still believe it is moreso the players pulling together than Grant's managerial progress, though in fairness, he's got his tactics spot on in recent games, especially against ManUre and the Barcodes.
  18. So you're telling me determining the player who scores the opening goal is worthy of the same amount of points as guessing the overall result?
  19. Fair point, I respect your opinion You're right, some people will love the retro look whilst others might not so much. Saying that, most kits I initially dislike seem to grow on me into the new season.
  20. Disagree with you greatly. Saw the shirt in town, and whilst I like it, it doesn't even compare with the shadow of the kit of 06/08. Can't actually believe you think its the nicest kit we've ever had, either...
  21. Something for the anti-Grant brigade to chat about. He's been voted Barclays Manager of the Month.
  22. I think we'll end up with the three points but I don't think we'll win the title. United will win at Wigan I think, but if we can end up with the same amount of points as the Champions then I'll be pretty chuffed.
  23. I hope so. What happens if we do win it? Does Grant stay, or do we ask him to go back upstairs and bring in Frank Rightguard?
  24. The Winners Player of the Year = Joe Cole Goal of the Season = Juliano Belletti vs Spurs Player's Player of the Year = Riccy Carvalho Young Player of the Year = entire Youth Team and Paul Clement Special Achievement Award = Frank Lampard, achieving 100 goals Special Recognition Award = John Dempsey, for his 9-year career with the Blues
