He had an interview yesterday on beIN sports. Would have loved to share it but it is in Arabic and sub titles. But every time this kid speaks he impresses me at this age. He said that the closest players to him right now are Luiz, Ba and Hazard. He said he was very happy with the way all the players and managerial staff welcomed him in the club. Life in England is easier for him than in Switzerland and he is adapting. When the host asked him about his thoughts about Mourinho saying that next season he will play an important role in the team, he replied by saying that he was happy about this but that doesn't mean that he has to wait for next season. He believes that he has to work hard from the moment he arrived. He does not have to wait till next season, but by working heard he may earn the chances of playtime this season and he has to keep fighting for it.
That was a very responsible answer to me and reflects a fighting character. I hope he maintains it and his backs this up with hard work and actions.

I can't believe people are now calling for Oscar head.. when we played possibly the best team on the planet current CL holders Oscar was vital as he was in the 2-1 defeat of City at the Bridge.. He is rested for this game as tactics dictated we needed to be faster on the break and all of a sudden his importance is being questioned.. I know you guys miss Mata but some need to get their heads checked..

When he first joined, playing his first few games for Chelsea, I was thinking this guy is no more than a decent player at this level. And after his first full season, I still thought the same. Decent player, frustrating at times and while he can be useful, I thought the club paid too much money for a player of his level and he won't go down as one of my personal favourites.
Here we are few years later and what can I say.. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE HIM! (I rarely feel the need type words in capital letters and use exclamation points so this is something special here). Sure, he can still irritate me at times but I can never stay upset for too long (the guy just scored a second hahaha, what a player!). He's a great player and genuinely seems like a decent guy. So, how wrong was I haha? The 'Chelsea number 7 curse' has truly been broken.
Just felt a strong need to say this.

Every time you expect him to be sacrifised for the new flashy recruits, he surprises.He just comes out stronger.. Waiting to see Rambo flourish again under Mou..

Edit: He was such a liability that we won only 12 of the 15 games that he started for us in midfield.
