1) Forgot about Sturridge being banned for 3 games. Guess we need to use Salomon 'The Failure' Kalou with Torres n Malouda then as we have no fucking choice. For a team that's trying to be the best that's disgraceful imo that the only choice is Kalou who would barely grace league 2 2) Luiz? He aint played all pre-season so imo he shouldn't be considered for Stoke. If considered, i'd put him in midfield. 3) Hope Mikel is fit. I'm not his biggest fan but this game suits him and not Josh. 4) Malouda is looking pretty good atm, he warrants a place. 5) Right back? Confused.com 6) JT & Alex as CB's - Too slow perhaps but PERFECT for Stoke!

That was piss easy to be honest but good to win all our pre season games after like losing them all last season. Torres was brilliant today but i'm so pissed off he was subbed, he wants goals ffs! Rather it've been like 6-1 because the match warranted that. Kalou was once again the weakest link but yet he's not been told 'goodbye' which actually angers me and frustrates me like mental. Anelka was also shit, that chance he just gave to the keeper... wtf? Our best XI atm is: Cech Ivanovic Alex Terry Cole Ramires Mikel Benayoun Sturridge Torres Malouda And i hope that's the team on Sunday.

Good half and great to see Danny banging more goals in for us. He's been excellent. Also Torres has been fantastic with the ball, he's got his first touch and his dribbling skills back to its best it seems. Good half of football.

Really wanted to see Drogs n Torres together but looks an interesting team except Kalou being there.

I reckon PVA could be a good LM but maybe he can. I reckon Sturridge and Malouda will be our 2 wide men for this season tho. Yep that's Yuri gone. Didn't really get many chances but really helped us when Ashley Cole was injured for a spell in 09/10 after breaking his foot against Everton. He covered well but really that was the only spell he really got in the team. Never heard of Anzhi Makhachkala (thank u whoever created copy & paste) but good luck to them and to Yuri. I think his name gives that away. Wiki = McEachran was born in Oxford. He began playing football for Garden City F.C. in the Oxford Mail Boys League, where he was spotted by a Chelsea scout. He then joined the Blues as an academy player at the age of 8 and rose through the ranks while juggling his academic responsibilities at Marlborough School in Woodstock. I would say i don't care about winning but because they beat us 2-0 in 2007, it's only fair if we get our own back In an ideal world i'd like to see a 4-3 or something just for some excitement as long as our defenders don't get shaky for the Stoke game. We already have new players anyway. Torres, Luiz, Ramires, Benayoun, Sturridge, McEachran and Romeu. Ok the first 6 aren't new as in bought this summer but they are effectively going into this season as new players. This is their first main season.

So we're still going for strikers when that's the one position we actually have fully covered? ok makes sense. Stupid story anyway.

He's got to stay for a bit longer because his experience on the pitch is vital. He was good in the Asia Cup with his vision and simple things he does so well to control the game. He can't do a lot of what he did 3 years ago but just like Scholes, his experience is huge, even as a squad player. His time is almost up and lots of games seem to be passing him by now but he's had a sensational Chelsea career and has made a great impact in Chelsea's history Frank Lampard, Chelsea Legend.

Looking forward to this game because of the relationship between the 2 sets of fans. Would like to get a bit of revenge for 2007 when we lost 2-0, also Rangers have looked a bit crap at the start of this season. Is there any chance of this being on TV? That Villa performance was awful yesterday, another boring McLeish team. We played freely and embraced it whilst they just played it scared of getting hammered. I hope we can play to that level consistently but we had the same squad for most of last season and our performances were not great except a few sparks here n there. I remember when Scolari was here, we beat Villa 2-0 and looked like the best team in the world.... then we were shit from then. Anyway true.. It doesn't say we will not sign players but i have the feeling we wont. A few of our players need replacing, it's obvious to everyone what we need.
