  6. Well money can buy you the most expensive players and skillful ones out there. But it will never buy you HEART. Those are men who went through despite not having their best midfielder in the competition, despite losing 3-1 away, despite having their star player injured in the first few mins, despite, despite despite. ONLY MEN WITH HEARTS KEEP ON GOING TILL THE END. It is never over, till the final whistle is blown. Congratulations to fellow fans, Chelsea, Mourinho and THE MEN

  8. MATA'S letter on his website "I never forget: thanks, Chelsea!" Juan Mata Chelsea goodbye with an emotional letter Hi everyone, As you can imagine this is a very important day in my life, and with these lines I would like to express the memories and emotions that come to me as I write. This letter is written from my heart, and first of all I would like to say that I will never forget all the affection given to me by the Chelsea fans. From the very first day until the last. With your support and affection I have grown up as a player and I have had an amazing time both on and off the pitch. I wi

  9. I hate Eden Hazard because he hasn't already scored 200 goals for Chelsea and he because was bought for £32 million and because other people like him and because other people hate him and because he has blue eyes and because he has tanner skin than me and because he is a millionaire and because he is Belgian and because I'm Australian and because my water bottle is empty and because I can't find my pants and because it's 40' degrees celsius and because he missed one penalty and because he doesn't score enough for Belgium and because he is really good at doing rabonas and because he scored a co

  10. you can talk as much shit as you want about Luiz, but he gave his heart and blood and simply broke down sobbing in the pitch when the match ended. That man loves us, he gives us his everything. He's an airhead sometimes, and sloppy in others, but because that's him, but he gives us his everything. #respect

  11. Chelsea began a new sporting era marked by the return of Jose Mourinho to the position he was employed between 2004 and 2007. It thus put an end to the last fifteen months during which the team was assigned to temporary managers as Rafael Benítez succeeded Roberto Di Matteo. This last point proves to be crucial ahead of the new season, especially after a 69-game season played all over the world. Chelsea suffered from the lack of rotation options in many positions. Therefore, it seemed reasonable to expect from the London club a greater freedom of movement granted to the Portuguese manager, res

  12. I'm genuinely surprised by how some don't seem to realize how bad the situation really is. This is by far worse than any of the 'bad runs' by any of our previous managers. It's our worst start to a season in 35 years! That's not just some statistic. Think about it for a second! I have never seen any a top team start a season this badly. Closest to it maybe Tottenham or Liverpool under Hodgeson. We are in genuine trouble here. Even if we magically regain our form and start wining matches which there has been zero signs for, it would still be till at least December or January till we even start

  13. It’s actually worse than I thought.. Drogba wrote ‘Blue Till I die’ on the dressing room white board and left the country, Ashley Cole rejected Liverpool and left the country. Frank Lampard, the man who was Chelsea personified.. and embraced it!, has taken us for fools. He found a way to ‘save face’ with a pseudo-contract to pull the wool over our eyes, it was a PR move.. not for Chelsea fans but to keep his ‘clean’ ‘professional’ image intact; to not be the guy who moved directly to our only title rivals.

  14. I love how the media have even managed to brainwash even a section off our own supporters with this bus parking bollox, it's truly unbelievable. The games in question mainly were Old Trafford, The Emirates, The Calederon, Anfield. The first two we approached with the tactic Fergie use to employ a lot in big away games, try and win but also be mindful that a draw away at a title rival (or in United's case who we thought would be one) isn't the end off the world. The latter two we were severly weakened and heading to the home's off the 2 most in form team's in Europe, any one who doesn't go def

  16. Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho delayed the start of his news conference ahead of Sunday's game with Manchester United to welcome ITV journalist Rags Martel, who has recently recovered from cancer, back to the press room. Mourinho was about to start when his face lit up with delight at the sight of Martel staring back at him, and he quickly made his way over to shake hands with the reporter while asking him if everything was "all good?" "All good," replied Martel before adding "it's good to see you back" in reference to Mourinho's return to the club in the summer. Class act.

  17. Hey Guys! Just visiting to tell you that i am very happy that Kai will most definitly play for you next season. Of course i would have prefered him to stay with us for the next decade and longer, but from all the options he had you were my favourite and now you have already one of the most exiting teams in Europe. You will get an awesome player. Take good care of him! I will watch his and your next season with great interest. Greetings from Germany A Leverkusen Fan

  19. Find it quite sad that some people are turning their backs so easily on Hazard, the player who won the Player of the Year accolades last season and the one who led us to the title when everyone else had ran out of steam last year, after one bad half of a season. Granted, he has been poor but I don't think he deserves his professionalism to be questioned at all (it only really picked up steam after Mourinho threw him under the bus at Leicester). If some can show a lot of patience with Mourinho, who was in his worst moment and after all the wrong things he's done, then why can't people do the sa

  20. To make a case for his resignation I'd like to ask when people think he will turn this around. Before the West Brom game on Saturday 23 August Mourinho said that he had been 'working harder than ever before' to 'turn things around'. September and October have passed since and can anyone honestly tell me we look better now and there has been a noticeable improvement? I can't. If anything we look worse. 2 shots on target today and one was a pot shot from 40 yards. Counter attacking at home. It was absolutely pathetic. What cause is there for optimism? Are things just going to magically click int

  22. I saw numerous comments raising the question as to how would Fabregas fit in a Mourinho's team if Juan Mata (and to a lesser extent de Bruyne) could not. It is to misunderstand what was the situation with Mata. Mourinho does not have solely work-rate warriors in his teams, that is not true. At Inter and Madrid, he had Sneijder and Ozil (whom he described as the best n°10 if I remind correctly) as key players — both not exactly being great contributors to the defense, to say the least (Ozil having even stamina problems...). Despite his small size, Sneijder is quite a tenacious and powerful play

  25. I'm afraid not a lot of you will have seen the interview (let alone be able to understand a single word they say ). So here's the summary of the most important things that have been said: He's feeling really well and is in Belgium because his Brother (Jordan Lukaku) came back from the Viareggio Cup (Anderlecht's -21 won the tournament and Jordan played a hell of a tournament => AC Milan showed interest today). Romelu had a day off and wanted to see his brother.Funny fact is that if Rom's had stayed at Anderlecht he too could have joined the team in the Viareggio Cup => he's still only 19

  26. Im going to go on a bit of an out of character rant here because tbh i am sickened by some of the stuff i have read about Roman these past 48 hours. Now do i agree with his decision to sack Roberto Di Matteo? no, but some of the knee jerk reaction's dearie me, didn't we learn from the AVB sacking when we hastily stripped Lampard of his legend's tag, only to back track a couple of months later and realize he wasn't as guilty as we thought. Roman is a Chelsea fan like we are, if i was the owner i would probably do things that would have some of you tearing your hair out, we would do what we thin

  36. Sifting through past pages, it's the same stuff that has plagued this board for majority of its lifespan. Hazard is never going to satisfy some of us if this continues. A verbose one, yes but needs to be added to the discussion. (1) People expecting far too much too soon from Hazard by looking at him through the lens of Ronaldo and Messi. You....just....can't. Every player is different and every career takes different routes. Ronaldo and Messi have been at big clubs their entire careers. They've been playing Champions league since they were 18, making deep runs into the knock-out phases. He

  38. I think it's gotten to the point where a lot of the reactions to the criticisms of Mourinho are just as knee-jerk as some of the criticisms itself. I admit that a few of the posts I've read on here slating Mourinho have been over the top, but at the same time there're some that have been legitimate criticisms. The problem I'm seeing here is that regardless of whether there're unreasonable or valid, any criticism of Mourinho is being met with angry accusations of being a glory hunter. This is exactly the same thing some members did in the beginning of the season when a few were saying that Osca

When you win 3-1 in the first leg its unacceptable to be kicked out by 2-0 without playing your game Some of our players have failed big time especially our strikers that could be

  40. I frankly don't know where to start. We have won more than just 3 points today. With that win today, Arsenal are off our backs for the time being. We are definitely in City's head and the psychological burden is huge. They way we played as a unit was just fantastic and the first two goals where fabulous. We killed them real quick and we followed with another four. Torres showed signs of life today. Luiz just brilliant in MD besides Matic. Scurrle and Oscar......I am just soooo happy for both of them. They needed that and well earned. Chelsea fans needed that. Azpi is devloping in a SCARY way.

  41. To DD : Playing againt Chelsea was a particular moment, Eden Hazard is a good successor ? DD : Yes it was a particular match, but in Champion's League only the results matter. I think they took advantage of our mistakes in first half. We reacted in second half, and we were able to get them into trouble. Eden said that he was confident that at the Bridges it will something else Of course it will be difficult, they are better, more experienced than us. They will have to control the game, the maetro here will have to keep a strong hand on the match... We'll go there and try to maintain the dream.
