  1. I am now a MASSIVE HELL NO for Bastoni remember how I said months and months ago he has regressed a lot this season? it has gotten worse go watch the Germany v Italy game he was insanely poor like as bad as slabhead on his worst days bad unbelievably poor positioning, ball watching, and shit instincts, plus he is weak physically HARD PASS

  3. Still not entirely convinced about Kounde. Kept a closer eye on him after last summer and quite frankly I don’t see him as the player which he seems to be made out to be. Looks a decent CB but I am not really sure if it would be right to say he is an outstanding one now or could be in the future. On De Ligt though - 100% yes though, if thats possible and not as expensive as maybe first thought, do it. His age, profile, experience, mentality and leadership skills at his age, to think he will only keep on adding to what he’s already achieved so far in his career in terms of the im

  5. Oh my god.. I have been attending Hungary games since I was a child, witnessed losing against Malta and San Marino.. Never seen this coming. I know other 3 teams don’t give a shit about Nations League, but for us it’s huge to play competitive games about such huge football nations and succeed.

  6. I think Jesus would be a good fit for us. The right age but with good experience, premier league experience, winning trophies but still with a point to prove as has never really been perceived as first choice at Man City. His time under Pep I think would benefit us hugely with his pressing and his ability to drop deeper and influence the ball, but also provide a goal threat. I would actually prefer Jesus to Sterling. If we can add him and Dembele and move on for example, Lukaku and Ziyech (purely as the two that seem to be least suited to Tuchel) I think we look stronger in tha

  7. Skriniar plus £10-15m goodwill cash for Lukaku (on a reduced Inter wage packet) done and dusted

  8. None of us knows who ultimately made the football decision on this one and probably won't know for years, if ever. My own feeling however is that the person responsible has already left the club.

  9. Not going to happen. Yes, purely because we stuck with him for three and a half years. Getting Torres meant we couldn't put our name in the hat for Aguero, Falcao and Cavani when they became available and we started signing players (and managers in Rafa's case) who would have worked/did work well with the prime version to try and coax something resembling form from him. Not to mention the toxic positivity the crowd and his fanboys spread every time he done something resembling a footballer. As terrible as Lukaku has been we thankfully seem to be getting shot early and Tuchel quick

  10. On reddit there are some blokes who claim in was McLachlan who recommended to utilize the funds for a ST over Tchouameni. Apparently he pushed for Lukaku's return and made the Saul loan recommendation. If true, this surely is an immediate sacking.

  12. If we loan for Lukaku to inter for just 17m, the overall financial loss will be gargantuan. At least when measured mark-to-market. Lukaku's market value will be cut in half in the next few months just bc of his age. Even if he sets serie A on fire, no on will ever buy him. Loan deal is beyond stupid if it does not include obligation to buy but makes sense given how braindead our board is.

  14. Lukaku to Inter will be done quickly IMO. I think both sides just want it done. Swap deal? Dont see it.

  15. Would be dumb if we swapped Lukaku for Dumfries.

  16. Kounde always has been an absolute non-starter. Would be an absolute brainfart masterclass from the board like so many before Overrated player, rash, inconsistent, has regressed over the past season (added getting red cards to his game), easily riled up, tiny ADD-kid. Now we learn he is also injured and has to do surgery. Minor or not, any surgery bears risks. Also overpriced AF. The way this saga drags on is already a bad sign. Remember Bakayoko? The sheer number of absolute qualtiy CBs that have switched clubs while the board sat there on AC, Toni contracts running down d

  19. I remember people wrote off Liverpool last season based on their window. Ofcourse not saying we'll get 90 plus points but similarly we were in a bit of a false position last season due to the mitigating circumstances (Covid ravaged December then ownership issues). Also 2019 when we lost Hazard couldn't sign anyone while Tottenham, Arsenal and United played supermarket sweep there were similar sweeping statements about how all three will leave us for dust, two finished comfortably behind us (and haven't got back above us since) while the other needed goal difference to finish above us.

  21. He may aswell have told us which were and weren't by his actions. Morata and Bakayoko got multiple chances so quite clearly were. He wanted to reunite with Emerson and Giroud in Italy so he quite clearly didn't mind those signings. Giroud was obviously him anyway due to his history wanting targetmen but get to that shortly. Drinkwater, Bats and Barkley were largely ignored so safe to say they were club signings. Zappa I think was a bit of both. Clearly a panic buy but when it got to the stage I think Antonio got lazy and went where he knew. Our repeated links with tar
