  1. I think through balls are very good measure of players creativity. PL this season: 1. Bruno 12 2. KDB 11 3. Salah 9 4. Rodriguez 7 5. Ceballos, Maddison, Pereira 6 Chelsea full squad 12!!! Same as Bruno! Kovacic 5, Jorginho, Havertz, Ziyech all 2 and Azpi 1. Certain attacking midfielder and player with most minutes in the squad this season has 0! We were much better also in this department last season: Jorginho 16 (only KDB, Maddison and Buendia had more), Kovacic 10, Barkley 6, Willian 5, Pulisic and Pedro 4... All stats are from

  2. Having made his Chelsea debut in last night’s 1-1 draw at Liverpool, Tammy Abraham is hoping to kick on and enjoy more involvement with the first team.

  4. Nov 2014 was our last league win there.. been a while! So be nice to to change. Be more confident if they hadn't kept losing at home

  5. Would like to see Milwall get promoted. The chaos they would bring against West Ham etc.

  6. I don't think we are in desperate search for the striker. But when someone like Haaland is on the market you would be stupid not to try. Abraham, Giroud and Werner gave us 33 goals already this season. Not that bad and I imagine Werner will be much better next season. Ziyech, Pulisic and Havartz also need to step up big time.

  7. Or Havertz can be our false 9.

  8. if no Håland, it is down to only 2 realistic (and still crazy hard pulls) options who are good enough (the rest are impossible or too old for long term (Lewa and Immobile) Lautaro Martinez or DCL are it, I would go for DCL myself (I have been saying this for a year) after that, the drop off is massive (or involves impossible pulls, like Mbappe or Kane or Lukaku) IF we miss out on CL and Everton make it, DCL will not leave them for us (and uder any crstances, he will be insane expensive) so it may just default to Lautaro BUT there is one one Håland, and the other 6

  9. No way he'll go to the Theatre of Shit either. Keane deliberately snapping his dads leg in what is probably the worst tackle in football history will probably sway him away

  10. Absolutely no chance that we are getting Haaland. The question is, who will we get to lead the line!!

  16. Fulham is playing very well. Just 3 losses in last 15 or 16 games. Amazing result for them. Newcastle, Brighton, Burnley are in real danger.

  17. Of course but my point is, not winning the head-to-head games against the top half teams is the main reason we are in the predicament that we're right now. We are not close enough to those above us and not able to pull clear of those below us. We have basically been relying on the others not beating much of the rest and are under pressure to win every game from here on in. Let's not also forget we contrived to draw 3-3 at West Brom and 3-3 with Southampton after being 2-0 up under Lampard too.

  18. Buying so many players in one window was always gonna be a problem (all part of trying to "catch up" with the rest after the transfer ban), even more so during a pandemic season. No pre-season. Constantly playing a game every 3-4 days. Injuries. Players getting COVID-19 (one in Havertz in this case). New players struggling to adapt or needing time to settle in England. Put all those factors together and we ended up with what we have seen. Hopefully we will have a slightly more normal season next time and then we can judge the players better, although the Euros being on this summer is not helpf

  19. Well if City‘s defence is struggling, they just buy Ruben, if their midfield struggles, they get Rodri, etc.

  20. I have already talked with @Magic Lampsabout that topic. Currently, I do not think he is a title winning striker, but in my opinion, he is underrated. He had his goal drought for a period of time last season, but he also played with an ankle injury for a while, which people tend to forget. If he ever manages to fix his headers, I can see him becoming a top striker, yes. He is fast for his size, tall, wins his headers (sadly, he misses them lol), his hold up play improved compared to last year in my opinion and his conversion rate of total shots has improved a lot. He als

  21. the only players who can play at No 9 who truly interest me and I rate as good enough are (and some/many are impossible) Kylian Mbappé (pretty much impossible) Erling Håland (my number one target ) Harry Kane (he would never come here) Lautaro Martínez (my number 3 target after Håland and DCL) Romelu Lukaku (our board HATES to rebuy players we sold off, this is why we balk at buying Rice, which is foolish in regards to him) Robert Lewandowski (age is a huge issue, but he is, for the next 2 years or so, still the best No 9 on the planet, his numbers are again insane ths

  23. I strongly doubt we will be able to pull off Haaland. Spain might have lost a bit of its appeal due to the recent slump of spanish teams but overall, city, psg and maybe even still real will have bigger sway. Either we work something out with a combination of Werner/Tammy/Havertz false nine or give broja or some other academy product a fair chance. throwing money at the problem might not be the wisest solution as seen with werner

  24. I think if Paolo Maldini is able to convince him to go there in the first place its going to be difficult to get him back.... I think he will stay there. Also I think we will be open to negotiating the price.

  25. Lol looking at the 'penalty incident' again. The VAR ref from Manchester wanted it and the pitch ref said no. Gary Neville on Sky also was annoyed because a penalty wasnt given to Yernited for Green woods handball. They can both suck it up.

  28. Legit news if you ask me . I can't imagine Haaland to choose Chelsea over Real or Barcelona or even United (OLE) Real would love to replace Benzema with Haaland Barcelona would want to make Messi happy with transfer like Haaland United would replace immediately Martial for Haaland . Chelsea may not even be in the top 4 this season -> no CL next season .
