To be fair tonight we made 10 changes, the pitch was fucking terrible and it was the FA Cup after all. Just glad we’re still in the cup.2 points

Goal looked offside , we’ll take that for the penalty not given in the first half.2 points

Haaland. Or at least someone like him. There's a reason why only strikers like Drogba & Costa have succeeded at Chelsea in recent years.1 point

Both him and Ziyech have been pants since their second injury break (or maybe third in the case of Pulisic?) Neither of them are starting 11 quality at the moment.1 point

Tonight yes but how was Sheffield a "horror show"? I know they're bottom but that's mainly because they struggle to score, they've competed well and made it tough for every big six team this season, even City could only manage a pair of 1-0's against them.1 point

We advanced and rested a lot of the starting XI. That’s worth celebrating. Fresh legs going forward.1 point

Thank fuck. Gilmour and James fantastic there. Lets home this gives Tammy a bit of a lift because he has been hopeless most of the game as has Ziyech. He looked offside though fucking hell, miles off least theres no VAR.1 point

It depends on what we want - someone to get on the ball and dribble past players or someone to stay on the last line/run into the space to stretch the opposition. They both have their strengths and it's nice to have options.1 point

baffling decision he could have just kept the ball and breezed past the defender towards goal. we really lack composure rn1 point

True and we know he has the talent but was last season just one of those purple patches or something more? He needs to wake up ASAP!1 point

Pulisic's last injury was at the end of November. Has been back since then and has been involved in 13 of our last 18 games, including today. Only has 1 goal and 1 assist.1 point

Interesting with Emerson at LCB. His ability on the ball and being a fullback, probably be similar to playing Azpi on the right in a way. Not exactly but similar. Also, Tammy is so frustrating.1 point

we really look totally disjointed after all the chopping and changing. This lineup appears to be TT's first blunder. Really should pay more respect to the cup but lets first see how it unfolds1 point

They just did the next round draw. Chelsea will play Sheffield United in the Quarter Finals if they beat Barnsley tonight.1 point

To be fair the majority of those players are either development players or players brought for development. The ones we should worry about are the following (owing to wages and fees paid): Batsh*t Kepa Baka Drinky Zappa Baba Emerson Barkley Moses Zouma Rudi RLC AC Tomori Kenedy Jorgi Alonso MVG *I have excluded Willy and Giroud as they're out of out contract. This is still some list but I think they are broken into categories. Cat 1 - Players that shouldn't be sold Alonso - If w1 point

I too hope that Havertz does well, but making a system work for one or 2 players should NEVER be the objective. We need to have a set playing style that works, and if some players work better than others, then so be it. Case in point, CHO starting over Pulisic (although the CP has enough talent to reclaim the spot), and Alonso over Chillwell. I think part of the reason why Lampard did worse in December and afterwards is because he suddenly had too many talented players fit and available, that he tried to tinker with his lineup every game trying to get most of the big names into the s1 point

Why does it have to be one or the other? It's not black and white. They're totally different players. Fab was much more of risk taker, brilliant creativity, long pass specialist. But he didn't control the tempo like jorginho does. He ran the show often but in a much different way. He was a decisive player who biggest impacts were often directly involved with goals. Jorginho is a person who dictates tempo much more, keeps things flowing, creates a ton of space for teammates, but offers shorter passes. He is a player who's impact is often not directly involved with goals, but ov1 point

Absolutely pathetic and shite performance. We have been very very lucky with the results in the last few games... 1) Not sure what has happened to Pulisic, Ziyech , Kante - nowhere near their best 2) Despite his good goal recently , Alonso is one of those players who will have one in six good games. He should not start games. Hate those type of players Willian was one of them 3) Without Mount Chelsea is Terrible 4) IMO I thought Lampard's Team played much better, like i said we have been very lucky with results.0 points

My back garden is in better condition than this pitch and I've got 2 kids and a dog regularly trashing it.0 points
