  2. ‘I had him worried at one time’ – When Jimmy Greaves interviewed Mike Tyson and took a punch in the ribs https://talksport.com/football/671835/jimmy-greaves-interviewed-mike-tyson/ It’s not very often two titans from two completely different sports square off against each other. But, back in 1988, football legend Jimmy Greaves faced up to Mike Tyson in the ring. The Chelsea, Tottenham and England legend travelled to Catskill, New York just to get some time with The Baddest Man on the Planet who, at that point, had just won his 34th consecutive fight and was plotting a rumble

  4. Friends a nurse. Currently self isolating but has said the lack of protective equipment as shown has been so shit. And the whole well done Boris for beating it..no. He didn't beat it. He got lucky. Not everyone has been lucky. Not so much care received but the strain and health etc. Its not something you win that way

  6. Back to Bonetti - he always came out to risk life and limb, and nearly without exception managed to catch the ball (certain employees take note) In Chelseas history he is in the top 10, no doubt.

  7. Prepare for the Ultimate Gaslighting* *Gaslighting, if you don’t know the word, is defined as manipulation into doubting your own sanity; as in, Carl made Mary think she was crazy, even though she clearly caught him cheating. He gaslit her. Pretty soon, as the country begins to figure out how we “open back up” and move forward, very powerful forces will try to convince us all to get back to normal. (That never happened. What are you talking about?) Billions of dollars will be spent on advertising, messaging, and television and media content to make you feel comfortable again. It will

  11. Good article - history shows governments are really slow to withdraw big brother state apparatus and surveillance when emergencies are over. Theyre also quite keen for everyone to have the Covid App at the moment that monitors everything you do.

  12. I don't agree and i'm very disapointed the board have scrapped it. In your 30's you're vulnerable to a sharp decline pretty much at the drop of that, remember what happened to us in 10/11? We went from free scoring to being unable to create proper chances in next to no time, leaving us stuck with player's who were barely even PL quality anymore, and looking at how Ballack and especially Joe Cole fared after leaving keeping them would have only made the situation even worse. Imagine if we gave in and gave Willy his three years and next year did a post double Malouda? He's frustrating

  15. NHS doctor on R5 has seen dozens of deaths, real suffering, people drowning in their own fluids in the last 12 hours. He said if Johnson was not on a ventilator, just an oxygen mask for a couple of hours he can't have been very ill. He also said new NHS staff arriving on flights from Europe and elsewhere are going straight to work on intensive care wards, non-Covid, with no testing or checks. He was very angry. This government are fucking useless.

  16. I think he is the option for the club but not priority ofc. We need another winger for sure. Pulisic, CHO, Ziyach. Pedro and Willian are off... We need to see what is going to happen with Jadon. Are we going to activate buy back on Boga? After all of that he can be an option. For free transfer and can play as a striker.

  18. Have any of usually reliable Chelsea sources (e.g. Matt Law) even reported about us wanting Coutinho? All the noise seems to be coming from Spain only...

  19. Maybe those "some Chelsea fans" you're talking about are a little more sane and not want every shiny looking "toys" out there just for the heck of it. Think people have mentioned good points as to why we should stay clear of Coutinho etc but you chose to ignore them. Isco, James, Coutinho are all in their late 20s and should be in their prime but they have gone off the rails for years now, they aren't even first team starters for their own club and you should know something is not right when their club are desperate to get rid of a player, like in Coutinho's case. If they were a few years yo
