  1. Hazard when asked if he regrets not joining Madrid sooner? Hazard: "On a personal level, I was really happy at Chelsea. It was special. Watching those Chelsea videos earlier was very emotional. I do not regret leaving Chelsea sooner".

  2. Lampard back will be fucking great IMO. I've read it all about he won't do this and he wont do that, he's average, he did nothing with Derby etc etc. This club is now under a transfer embargo, our best player has left and the previous manager didn't want to be here. The last manager had zero connection with the fans and club, this move ticks those boxes. The biggest trap the club can fall into is setting great heights for Frank in this first season, how the fuck can you without buying? Introduce younger players, let RLC, CHO and Mount flourish by playing them all the time and get the smil

  3. i've been reading comments by Madrid fans saying Hazard has joined a better club and that Chelsea ruined his career, no wonder he was asked that question if he regreted not coming to Madrid sooner, clearly trying to stir the pot, seriously what the fuck? Hazard as always was classy and professional with his reply. fucking spanish morons, fuck Real Madrid and their fanbase, too many bandwagons

  4. Think any manager that comes in and benches or worse, gets rid of Jorginho would be making a serious mistake. Guys shown more than enough times this season particularly in the last 10 or 15 matches he is more than good enough.

  5. Frank Lampard to become Chelsea’s first English manager in 23 years. Jody Morris will follow Lampard to Chelsea as his assistant. Petr Cech signing as the Sporting Director. (Sky Italia, Daily Mail and ESPN)

  6. Sorry, but not sure why we need to take parting swipes at players who gave their best and achieved a lot at the club. Hazard was loyal to Chelsea throughout his time here. If someone brings up his media comments to suggest that it seriously impacted our games, I'll just laugh. How about.. just say thank you and move on, if theres nothing better to say? I hope Chelsea does well. I hope he does well. If Chelsea meets Madrid, I hope we kick their arse. That's it.

  7. I'm not keen on Lampard taking over but if he does he'll have my undying support some on here are writing him off before a ball has been kicked. It's not a doomsday scenario it will be one of our own taking over not Allardyce or Pullis.

  8. Have to side with @Mana here. I really want Lamps to manage us at one point, he is my favourite player of all time, but I just don't want to see him being bashed by plastics and reputation demolished by this atrocious state the club is in at the moment. Let Roman sell up, clean up the mess that is our board and then let's try to make something of us again.

  10. Yeah man, keep clutching at straws. I think he has made it clear several times. He loves Chelsea. He has always loved Madrid. Ffs, Madrid aren't even traditional rivals. We beat them in the European super cup ages ago, but that's it. Not sure why fans are getting so worked up about things like these.

  11. BUt hE IssNt RedDy YeT!!! 100% agree mate. Ones in here have regurgitated the same old shit for weeks. He didn't bring Derby up, he's not ready, he hasn't proved himself. Personally I am properly excited about it. I don't care about his stats or whatever. Man bleeds Chelsea. Jody knows the youth inside out. Bring them in, give them time. Can't wait

  12. True, you will not catch Hazard doing what Courtois is doing now. And lot of idiots trying to stir the pot, including a few shitty tabloids trying to rub it into the face of Chelsea fans., that he's gone to Madrid. And what do you expect..clubs like Madrid and Barca unfortunately also come with a lot of bandwagon fans..most of which have probably taken notice of Hazard only after the world cup. Only Chelsea fans, and to a lesser extent, EPL fans, fully appreciate what Hazard has done. You look at all of Hazards presentation videos in Madrids channels, a lot of the comments are from C

  17. I personally have little expectations but unlike a fair few in here I don't NEED us to win to be happy. If I see Frank bringing youth through and having a go, playing attacking football I can settle with that. It's not all about being in the CL

  18. Who are you talking to? I actually don't see anybody expecting him to make top 4, people are being rather realistic with their expectations.

  19. I doubt it. We showed unprecedented patience with Mourinho, Sarri and to an extent Conte. Lampard will be given even more leeway because sacking him for something petty would permanently turn the fans, plus I know the board are dumb in football matters but I do trust them to acknowledge that top 4 under current circumstances would be a bonus, not a do-or-die target. If we don't completely implode, I think he will get a long-term opportunity with Jody to slowly and patiently grow with us.

  22. Sarri made it difficult for himself ... During the early part when teams didnt understand him Sarri managed to get wins but once his strategy was found out ... it is then he didnt have a plan B. The reason Sarri is getting the stick is because he kept trying the same thing over and over again expecting positive results. There are total of only 2 games after Nov (once the opposition read him) i.e. the City and the final of the Europa where we looked like a team other wise we were poor & it boils down to the manager. I also believe he could have had more players but he didnt request fo

  23. She is usually great at selling stuff. (Even if we completely fucked up the kdb, salah, sturridge and lukaku sales but im not sure she was in charge of those) but she is shit at buying. And like in capital markets, buying and selling require completely different skillsets. So someone with such concentrated talents should not have such a wide range of responsibilities.

  25. I'm so excited by this. Been reading on here why this manager would be good and why that manager would be bad, it's been laughable. Lamps for me is top of the list, love the guy, if he does well or he doesn't whatever that means, just give him time he'll come through. Welcome home Frank

  26. I might be thinking heart over head here.., but it has always been a longitme dream that one of DD, JT, Lamps would one day manage the club. Am never going to say no, if that is indeed a possibility. Like Drogba himself said : “I think it is a very good option for the club. “Is he ready for the job? Well, when is he ever going to be ready?" “Does he have to wait until he is 40 or 50 to be ready? I think it depends on your experience and depends on your desire to succeed and do it. “If he feels ready I don’t think it is too early. Every summer is big at Chelsea. Every

  27. Oh, Hazard I will miss you. I don't disagree with the move but it doesn't mean I have to approve. England is conquered, the ever consumate professional hungers for new challenges and to step out of a comfort zone is difficult and admirable.

  30. othing with Eden, but do you think Drogba or Lamps would stay here if they played today? Just accept the fact we are not at the very best level in football, while Hazard is. And lets not ignore he always said its his dream to play there, so theres that. Doesnt change the fact he left 7 wonderful years here. As for legend status, Id say he is pretty much only below Lamps, Didi, Cech, Terry. Not there because he left at 28, but close.

  31. I think it is a nice way to end Eden's passage by showing a video of him when he was only 10 years old! His youth team (Braine) got in the 1/4 finals of the belgian Youth cup. Starting at 00:26 seconds, interviewer asks him if he's feeling allright: "a little bit stressed. But I feel good about myself!". "What would you think the result will be" => EDEN on a very cute and typical Eden way "we will lose! OH no wait, we're are gonna wait. But I don't know how much"! After the game, which they lost 6-0 (their first loss of the season) Eden gets back in front of the camera at 02:12. "was it i

  34. Same!! Get the experience and come when things have calmed down or the situation is a bit less crappy. Not with a slightly dodgy squad and no chance of adding to then.

  35. Club connection, club legend, a good first season with Derby, won't come with his hand open with transfer funds in mind because it's off the agenda. This a dream job for Frank, and like we say with the youth lads, how do you gain experience if your not given the opportunity? The same applies to managers, not just that but last season during tough times Frank was sublime with the media, came across calm, well spoken and has the respect of the whole of the people who surround him. It sounds like some familiar faces are on the way back, good, this club really needs a restructure and the more

  36. This we looked like shit and the amount of points we picked up in the second half of the season is shameful. The others were just as poor no denying. But if Emery in his first season and a loser mentality club, Rookie manager Ole taking over Mourinho's shit show and Spurs with all their injuries are the yardstick then good night. Even more shameful is however how we played against the smallest of sides with stupid errors, no clear offensive plan except giving Hazard and later RLC the ball and hope for the best. Even when we won we really rode our luck whilst most of our defeats we realyl

  37. Klay and KD injuries really hurt the Warriors chances against the Raptors, KD was rushed too soon back from injury and Klay was on fire today until his knee injury, very unfortunate and it definitely changed the game, Curry was very poor by his standards, credit to the Raptors defense. Warriors deserve a lot of credit for fighting until the end and push this series to 6 games, i believe the Raptors wouldnt have stood a chance against a fully healthy Warriors team, but many congrats to them for their 1st championship, Kawhi was immense and a deserved finals MVP, Lowry, Van Fleet, Green, Ibaka,

  38. I am a clippers fan so fuck lakers. But ya, will be interesting. They have a lot of firepower. Kuzma, james, rondo, davis. Clippers have space for 2 maxed out contracts. I just hope that they somehow land kwahi (doc has publicly said it). Irrespective, its a good, young roster, a couple of good additions can do wonders.

  46. Attacking-wise, we have no class player. Defensive-wise we have no class player. Only midfield with Kante is class. No wonder Sarri wants to bail. He's in trouble if he stays here. Next season will be disastrous, especially with no RLC and CHO for the majority of the first half season.
