  1. Hazard literally carried us (offensively) to two titles... if you can’t see past the fact that the system is cancerous right now and that that’s affecting almost everyone’s general ability then I don’t know. I’m not really a Hazard fanboy, I just appreciate his talent. He’s one of the most talented attackers in the world. Why would you want to get rid of that instead of adding to it? He isn’t a number 10 either, he’s a wide playmaker. You should have a look at how many chances he’s set up for guys like Morata and Willian this season - he should have way more assists. This is just one example o

  2. He's only carried us on numerous occasions, stepped up during title races while others were flaking harder than a lightweight on an all nighter, literally been our sole attacking threat at times. I swear no other fans try and downplay there best players like this, your talking about him like he's Adel Taarabt

  3. He’s damaging the club? Not the board who have surrounded him (and others like Kanté) with average players? Put yourself in Eden’s position - I’m sure you would’ve left the club ages ago. The fact that he’s still here and even still thinking about staying shouldn’t be seen as a negative at all.

  4. You have to start looking at the level of the team and the absurdly negative tactics of our managers before looking at an individual player especially one like Hazard. Hazard was doing just fine before Cunte started with his insane experiments, switching "false 9" and back and forth and then there was the shit show in the Etihad when Hazard was humilated by his manager. A player is only as good as his environment regardless of how good that player is. We can't expect 2014/15 second half of the season miracles from Hazard when our managers continue to be extremely negative and our board fails t

  5. Time for me to get rocks thrown at me from the Eden fanboys but it needs to be said. All that Eden really offers us is his dribbling. We need him to run STRAIGHT INTO the box and cut inside AND SHOOT. We have seen him do it on very rare occasions so why not more often? But it seems he has something against shooting. OK So Eden - do your little dribble past a couple and then pass to someone who has got behind the defenders. But to me he never seems to look up so how the fuck can he see anyone thats doing a run? All he does is do one of his sideways passes or a back heel which more than p

  6. He's literally been swimming against a tide for most of his time here. Him being as good as he has been for us is the equivalent of a defender being a defensive rock for Brendan Rodgers Liverpool, Arsenal of this decade, Peter Bosz's Dortmund or Kevin Keegan Newcastle, something the "he doesn't do enough" brigade don't seem to realize!!!!!!!

  7. Just a dribbler, Jesus Christ. He did have a poor season, but if anyone thinks Chelsea can get a player better than Hazard, they're absolutely deluded. He needs to be offloaded, so that he can be replaced with REAL QUALITY, like Shaqiri or Choupo-Moting, I am sure they will be affordable. Keep Willian the Mediocre, and a washed-up Pedro, and Chelsea might make it through the group stages of the EL.

  9. I just feel that Joginho is going to City. I see him being a Fernandinho replacement, in the longer term. In the shorter term, for all of City's depth, Fernandinho doesn't actually have a like for like replacement.

  10. Personally don’t think “killer instinct” is that coachable - you either have it or you don’t. Morata isn’t really that young for him to develop it either. Like I said before - I have my criticisms on Morata but wouldn’t sell unless we got in a top replacement, such as Icardi as you mentioned. If we could get a top striker like that in I wouldn’t mind selling him at all. Inter failed to qualify for the CL so who knows? Especially if we got a fellow Italian like Sarri in?

  13. Mate its been doing my nut in all season. The amount of times him Willian and Pedro have all lost the ball doing fucking silly backheels when we've been under pressure and struggling to get a foot on the ball in games this season is unbelievable. It works every now and then but its just infuriating today we struggled for possession as it was. Fair enough perhaps if they came off it would have led to some better solutions in the final third but it didn't.

  16. And the annoying thing is you know it was coming! After last season yeah we won the league but t obvious cracks that are more obvious now. From day one it was clear it'd be tough and lo and behold it was. Crazy how quick it fell apart.

  17. We'll even have to think about refreshing some of our players the fans like but simply aren't good enough anymore. The likes of Willian, Cesc, and Pedro. All players I really like but who are/will be 30+ and on the decline. Pedro and Willian are wildly inconsistent and Cesc has somehow become even less mobile than he was when he arrived. None of those 3 should be every match players for a side with title winning ambitions next season. Then we have players who are straight up average and wouldn't look out of place at a 8th-12th placed side like Cahill, DD, Zappa, Barkley. The club would ha

  18. Yes I do want you to leave if you don't sign da ting. You are slowly damaging the club by refusing to sign the contract, leaving question marks for the club and the fans. If you can't decide, leave ASAP because I don't want half-hearted players in Chelsea.

  19. New manager in next season -we'll reach top four. The following season we'll sign three average players, the manager will look all forlorn, not his signings, as we finish out the top four. So the cycle will continue

  20. You're right about the need to replace the bad players with good ones and have a different approach with transfers but at the same time, I do not want us to keep the manager for the sake of keeping it. As Tomo alluded to above, had Conte been trying to get his best out of the squad but still came up short, then yes, I wouldn't mind us keeping him at all. But he has been sabotaging the team's attempt at success this season, especially in 2018. We all can agree that this squad isn't good enough to challenge at the highest level at the moment but it's still good enough to finish in the top 4. But

  22. Conte's burned his bridges, even if he stays and has the perfect window, he will be one so so one away from kicking off again. If he was getting the best out of what he had i'd show him some leeway, but he hasn't.

  23. hazard is already an absolute legend for us, instead of criticizing him for when the whole team is shambolic and the manager it seems has downed tools all season, let's support him and hope the club's surrounds him with a system, manager and players where he can truly flourish. Right now it seems we are not only not helping but putting him an environment that is set up against him (super defensive manager, no consistently top class striker to link up with, being constantly played out of position even though he is our best player etc) and despite all this, he still loves Chelsea and has hinted

  24. Not atall, i just think the criticism towards hazard is truly ridiculous and saying he offers nothing but dribbling is ridiculously harsh. He has played in pragmatic Chelsea sides, is doubled up on because teams know the other players aren't half the threat he is, repeatedly fouled yet just gets on with it and repeatedly delivers the goods. Almost every game he's top of all the positive attacking stats, even in the games he supposedly "disappears". I have never in my life seen as many myth's created about someone as what is with Hazard, from apparently not doing enough to the bizarre notion he

  25. If Conte stays, than our stupid board MIGHT be showing awareness that we need some new good players and different approach with transfers. If we get new manager they will think he will solve all our problems, that's for sure. They done it past, why not again? No one can work miracles with this players, no one. There may be season where we get into some crazy form, like 2016-17, and do some damage, but others are now just too strong for it to be enough. Conte staying would make a clear message - we (the board) were wrong and a lot of our players are not good enough for Chelsea.

  27. I don't know if its an attitude problem, Hazard has shown himself to be inherently unselfish. He seems like a genuinely nice person and wants to involve his teammates and play beautiful football. He thinks that if someone else has even a sliver of a better chance he will make the proper football play and move it along. The issue is he has so much more talent we all just want him to have a go rather than leave it to someone else even if its the technically proper play. Its an interesting dilemma, one i personally hope Sarri(if he comes) can help with. I selfishly sit here and dream about Insign

  28. I promise you I have no Blinder towards Hazard, i have a real issue with parts of his game and his value to us. I am more open to selling him than majority of Chelsea fans are. In a hypothetical world though, Sarri likes playing inbetween the lines with short detailed passing sequences. Eden is an unbelievable player in tight spaces who makes quick decisions, often too quick for our other players who arent as sure where to be. He absolutely needs to add a 'Selfish' aspect to his game for me. He needs to WANT to go score all these goals the way Salah/Kane/Messi/CR7/Neymar do. He has all the abi

  29. Again, here’s where mentality comes into it and Morata doesn’t seem to have that mentality to me. He isn’t that sort of guy that will stay behind and do those extra hours. It’s a gamble - do we stick with him and hope that his mentality changes, that he’s more hungry to succeed here? Or do we cut out losses soon (either this season or next if he doesn’t provide the goods) and try our hand with someone else like Icardi? I’m leaning towards the latter more. On Icardi - off the ball movement and finishing is immense, better than Morata’s. We lose out on technical ability a bit but still, si

  32. It's kind of funny, the positions we are in. We were always a little jealous when Arsenal were playing attractive football. We would give Arsenal supporters shit while we were winning the trophies, but kind of wished we could play with a little more flair. I was watching Arsenal Fan TV to see who the fans wanted and they were all ofter a defensive manager. Allegri, Simeone. So, it turns out, while Arsenal supporters were giving us shit about our defensive football. Actually, they kind of wished that their club had a little more defensive pragmatism.

  33. Allegri to Arsenal and Sarri/Jardim to Chelsea are actually the perfect appointments for both clubs at this moment in time. We need a direction change. If we can't/won't compete with the very big boys financially we need a manager who believes in hard work on the training ground and has a philosophy in place to Bridge the gap in the medium to long term, it can be done, as we have seen at Liverpool and Spurs (they may not have won nothing yet, but to be consistently in the CL and so competitive in big games with their outlay is good going). We have two big advantages over them, espec

  35. If Roman continues with his 'Win the league or fuck off' policy we will get a continual managerial revolving door. I hate to say it but we need a Klopp or Poch who are building a team bit by bit, Something they want to last and hopefully look ok doing it. Yes they fuck up and yes they rely alot on 1 player far too much but the idea is there. Ive not got a Scooby who will be our manager next season but I just hope the whole club, board, manager, players, supporters have a better attitude, confidence, trust and faith than 2 of the last 3 seasons.

  36. I just hope the Board know how vitally important this summer is. There cannot be the same drawn out sagas we experienced last summer, with constant managerial rumours. The club must make a decision that they are ready to follow through on as soon as next week's cup final is done. If that is sacking Conte or keeping him, it must be done efficiently. If Conte is to be sacked then the club has to have the new manager in place ready to appoint. There will be a couple of weeks before the World Cup and the club must be working on both buying and selling players in that time period. It cannot be

  37. Perhaps but also you can't say that the likes of Drogba, Cech, Ballack, Terry, Lampard.. these older generation of players were also a lot stronger mentally and had a greater desire to win that helped them get over the line in a lot of games even when playing poorly. Except that year under AVB that was bad. I look in the squad and yes there are players who have won lots of trophies from their career here and at other clubs and that is not in dispute but I think mentally some of them are a bit soft, when shit gets tough they seem to hide or just think well fuck it as evident from the secon

  38. Much as I think he has to go after the cup final, I just don't see what Sarri or anyone else is going to do with many or our players who seem unmovable in the summer. Bakayoko ain't suddenly going to develop a silky touch and be able to pass like Busquets. He's not going to develop football intelligence in a single summer. And I can't even fathom the club selling him 1 year after buying him for £40m. Drinkwater cost 35 fucking million and unless the club take a massive bath I can't see him being sold right away. I have this bad feeling that we'll do just a couple of deals and the club wi

  40. Again, I love how people think changing managers is the way to solve the problem we have at our club. Change some people upstairs. Keep Conte/change manager whatever and back him. Keep players who are committed to the cause (Courtois & Hazard, are they committed are they not? Maybe they are but no movement with contracts really says it all) and get rid of the duds like Moses Bakayoko Cahill Zappacosta etc. Spend wisely on some better players. Have back up targets for back ups so we aren’t left short in the market. 5th place isn’t the worst of finishes but for defending champions

  41. I don't see how we can trust this man for the FA cup final. Not only is he a failure in knockout cup competitions, but his line-up and formation changes in the last 2 games have been an absolute disgrace bordering on intentional sabotage. An ideal scenario is we sack him before the FA cup final to put that sack on his CV . We won't do it though as we're wrangling over a few milllion pounds. Conte deserves that black mark on his CV after the unprofessional season he has created for us. He's been an ABSOLUTE DISGRACE!

  48. See this is the bullshit I dont want to see come out of his mouth. 1 fuckin sentance after he says 'I hope the fans don't want to see me leave' he comes up with this crap "Things can move, or they may not move. We’ll see." To me its just a normal bit of Eden PR trying to keep HIS fanbase happy. And to keep that Spain door open. Eden is not a daft young kid. Hes a millionair businessman who knows exactly what hes doing/saying. If he wanted to shut everyone up and get everyone psyched up and fighting together as one he would sign his contract.

  49. It does seem like managers can't seem to win these days. If they overachieve with clubs on small budgets like Poch and Sarri have it's "show us your medals", yet if they win at City, Paris, Bayern, Real, Barca apparently it doesn't count because even Shannon from Scunthorpe and her dog could do the same. It seems all managers we get linked with right now are being put in one category or the other.

Aguero, Kane, Mane, Sane definitely at least bettered or equalled Hazard's record now, and after Dele's double against us - Dele is above Hazard. Anyway, how many goals did he score against a top 6 side this season? ...1. Against Arsenal. From a pen. Willian scored way more than him this season against top 6. Even Alonso as well. Hazard defenders here are getting a little bit over their heads now. How can you continue to say positive things about Hazard when he has poor game after game - especially agai
