  1. Have always liked him. He has only just turned 22 and is impressing in the PL. He has a good burst of pace, very powerful, has good dribbling ability and has good technique too. His strength definitely makes him suited for PL football. Just needs to improve on stamina side of things which will come with time but there is a lot more to come from him. On the weekend, received rave reviews for his performance at Leicester. Was a constant threat before he was subbed off.

  2. Our manager wanted 2 of those players: Dzeko and Nainggolan.

  4. Can someone tell me the most expensive player in Roma squad... yet our manager will never stop moaning about the quality of the squad....

  5. problem with Conte this season is his attitude. Resigned attitude I know we didn't get great players but if you were a good manager you would have given your opponents run for their money instead of bowing out of all the competitions in such a cheap way. Very weak move from Conte.

  6. Watching Liverpool and Roma fucking their opponents makes me wanna punch conte for making us suffer without the ball against City and Barça instead of been proactive...

  7. Screw Liverpool and City. I'm more interested in Roma right now!

  8. I feel his general play has improved in the last couple of games, he has seemed more motivated to compete and stay on his feet far more. There is definitely a good footballer in there, but there are question marks over his attitude in my opinion. But again, it's first season, some players take to it and others take a much longer process of settling in (Drogba!). I don't think it's a coincidence that he dropped off completely around the time when he would be usually used to having a winter break whereas over here the games come even quicker. Add to that at the time, Batshuayi wasn't fancie

  9. Who would've thought he's actually an attacker not a left-back eh? We are horrible with our prospects.

  10. Klopp just showed what as a manager you can do to take a team with average players( so you would think) to turn them into a great team! Our players should hang in shame. Also helps when you have a manager that doesn't complaint too much and is up for a challenge.

  11. Anyone but Liverpool now. We won't hear the end of it for 20 years if they win this shit. Anyways, so much for this historic, "best PL side in history" Man City side. Their season will end no better than our did last season, really. Their season will be remembered just like any random title winning season. Nothing extraordinary.

  13. Roma deserved to beat Barca in the first leg I thought, they played well as they proved again tonight and in the two games against us. They are some team.

  15. yeah me too... it would be amazing if Roma go through in away goal advantage. Go Roma! At this point it would be quite shocking if Liverpool exit.

  16. Look BL, how can ANY Chelsea fan continue to support United after last season. If you forgotten what happened last season regarding Man United as a club including the damn manager, let me remind you. Last season, Mourinho said Spuds are the best team in the league, not Chelsea. Even though at the time Spuds were 5th place, while we were 1st. If he is a true blue (which he ain't), he'll get a bar of soap and wash his mouth. And we get to the United fans. Last season, when they had to choose between Spuds and Chelsea winning the league they were choosing Spuds all day long. I've seen

  17. Yeah, 15-16 was much worse. Can't believe people don't remember how bad we were, like twice as bad as now. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk

  18. Revisionist history. The 15-16 team couldn't build up to save their lives. As bad as we are right now, we still are capable of creating chances.

  23. That's one (valid IMO) criticism Guardiola gets: his teams only play one way and there is no plan 'B'. Thankfully for him, it does work most times, esp in long championships where these slumps only cost a few points. The issue for City however, is that despite all the money they spent, and having some great players (some quite young too), they also have a few duds. Fernandinho for me is a 'no'. I'm brazilian (originally) and dislike his game very much so. Otamendi is not good enough on the ball at this level, and like Cahill, it hurts him at times. Sometimes it's not about the number

  24. wow wow wow, this is the beauty of the Champions League, Roma just did the unthinkable, fuck Barca and Liverpool were magnificent against City over the 2 legs, fuck City too. Our players should take a very good look at themselves and learn a thing or two about commitment, desire, intensity and organization. Conte just take note it will be a very interesting semi final no doubt, mouth watering matches await, im not even going to predict a winner. Cheers

  25. Kids won 4-0 on the night, 7-0 on aggregate. Through to a 7th successive FA Youth Cup final. The two legged game will be against Arsenal or Blackpool who are level going in to the 2nd leg of their tie at The Emirates.

  29. Hopefully Real Madrid or Bayern are in great form when one of them draw Liverpool. With Salah and their playing style they can rip through anyone but those super experienced winners should be able to handle Liverpool. I don't trust Barca. Would be utterly disgusting to see Liverpool win the whole thing. Still don't think they have a better squad than we do.

  30. We all hate Liverpool yea.. but I really don't understand why anyone would want City to win this game. They will have a very good chance of winning the competition and I for one really doesn't want that to happen. The fuckers buy anyone and everyone and have atguably the best manager in the World. I want them to fail at every last hurdle possible.

  31. This is mainly the reason i want our next manager to be a youth friendly coach even before a trophy laden track record. The previous generation of Boga, Charly, RLC all had flaws that were fatal when it came to first team chances at Chelsea, the likes of CHO, Mount, Sterling, Ampadu ill go as far as saying are near dead certs to make it under the right manager.

  32. 18s are currently playing the second leg of their FA Youth Cup semi-final with Birmingham. I know the question is always will any of them make it to first team level but these lads are good and are real fun to watch. I'm not easily pleased but there is no doubt in my mind that the overall quality of the U18 squad just keeps getting better. Several starters have been rested and of course Ethan Ampadu is out for the season but these kids are still playing the kind of football we'd love to see from the first XI. If you can get online the match is live on the club's facebook page. Give it a go. I

  33. My dream signing for us to sign and develop. If we wait another year he'll be linked for £100mn+ sums Two further caveats, I for one never felt that way watching Bakayoko, although ok at carrying the ball through weak midfields you could tell his general technique was lacking. Much more impressive players in that Monaco side (and France), for me. The other thing is Ndombele doesn't have a good goalscoring record at all, with only one senior goal this season. For me, this doesn't worry me that much. He has a good shot from distance that the woodwork/great saves has denied him more, an

  35. The 18s have just completed a 3-0 win away to Birmingham City if the first leg of this year's FA Youth Cup semi-final. The squad is bidding to reach its 7th successive final, and its 8th out of the last nine. The second leg is next Tuesday at Stamford Bridge. Good luck to the lads for the return tie.

  37. Look at the bigger picture the reason that English football is so massive is indirectly because of Abramovich. Do you think the likes of Burnley, Bournemouth and Brighton would be in the top tier of football on the budgets and crowds they used to have?. Since 2003 yes Chelsea were the club who got given the golden goose so to speak but the TV deals and rewards have benefitted every other club who have found themselves in the Premier League. Man City being the obvious one but Spurs before 2003 were a mid table club now there a force and moving into a 60,000 stadium would that have happened befo

  38. I've won the battle with myself to keep this polite so I'll just say that I hope yours is not a widely held opinion among Chelsea fans, and that we need to avoid sounding like spoiled brats. Indeed, even more than that, we need to avoid actually being spoiled brats.

  39. Why do people not rate this guy? He is pretty decent i.m.o. Yea he is abit raw but harness his abilities and we have a real player on our hands. In a time when wingbacks are the one of the most important positions in football, it makes sense to keep a player like Kenedy in our ranks.
