  1. Class act when he went to every single Boro player, coaching staff and fans after the final whistle.

  2. I have to defend Mourinho here. You also forget that almost the same team won the title in 2014/2015. I don't want to take anything away from Conte but everyone who watched Jose's Chelsea of 2004-2007 will agree that team was a different class. We should still be thankful that we had Jose at his best, when he was probably the best manager in the world. Of course it's now gone for him. Next season will be a huge test for Conte also playing in Europe.

  3. More than a few months gone by and now with the mouth full of humble pie, i'll have to say this to you all: You were right and i was wrong, in order to move forwards for Chelsea Football Club, parting ways with Jose Mourinho was the right decision from a non emotional point of view. The Mancs have been completely uninspiring on the pitch, life's been completely coached out of free spirits such as Mkhitaryan, Mata, Martial (good fullback vs. Chelsea though) and Shaw. Nonsens players like Darmian, Fellaini and Lingard are getting the nod ahead of some of the just mentioned names. Players who

  5. Applauding the Boro fans and going round to the staff and players, there is no end to this guys class. Keep him forever, don't fuck this one up. Give him all the backing he needs. He's awesome.

  6. Without Conte's work there would be this Juventus today. Our defense BBC was created by him. He has highlighted Chiellini, Marchisio, Bonucci, Barzagli and rejoined in Buffon the desire to win and stretched Pirlo's career of 4 years. With Conte Vidal lifted the maximum of his quality. Conte had the courage to bet on Pogba (a tip this summer if I was in you would try to buy Poga under Conte would be devastating in partnership with Kante). Allegri is a good coach and with a strong team he can win. Conte is a fucking conqueror. "Make the win" with hard work as done to Juventus and soon -3 points

  7. Another sensational game he was brilliant. Traore was the only player I was worried about from that team and he marginalised the threat by Traore and going forward was such a threat. He lost Traore so much times and could of had a hattrick. I don't know if the goal will be taken away from him but to have 5/6 goals for a LWB is brilliant. An unsung hero and another marvellous piece of business done by Conte. Certainly has been worth the money and said it before but he should have definitely been in that team of the year ahead of Rose.

  12. I don't think so. They have an old, weakened squad, especially their defensive players: Sagna, Kompany, Zabaleta, Clichy, Kolarov, Yaya, Fernandinho are all over 32 and most of them have suffered several injuries in their carrers. They need a couple of new fullbacks, centre backs and defensive midfielders. Their attacking style with Sané, Sterling, De Bruyne and Gabi Jesus looks fresh, fast and hungry, with a better defense City will be a tough opponent next year.

  13. You can lose against Arsenal, a loss here and there happens to the very best. Fielding a backline of 6 isn't pretty, but not again the thing that fucks people up. What's getting massively on their nerves is the fact that after going down against Arsenal, United showed zero interest in going foward. It just looked like they had been instructed to deliberately throw the game away. That's something new and unexpected for most Mancs. Most of them won't tolerate this for very long, he really put all eggs in the Europa League basket and like last season, it could go wrong. Furthermore they really

  16. The 14/15 squad was not as good as this one. I like everything we are hearing from Antonio regarding his plans for the summer. Saying that our squad is undermanned, and under skilled, is just a statement of the obvious of course, but the fact that he is prepared to say it anyway wins confidence. Whether this season yields two trophies, one trophy or none, there can be no doubt Antonio is the right man to take us forward. I hope no one in the hierarchy will seek to veto any of his transfer targets. By all means offer an opinion to the manger and try hard to persuade him if you think he nee

  17. I am getting fed up with all the sudden Allegri band wagoners who suddenly claim the Allegri is superior to Conte. Even respected journalists like David Amoyal have jumped on the bandwagon. Typical , short minded football fan opinion. Mostly, the people who tell me Allegri > Conte are Arsenal fans (because he's linked to succeed Wenger) or Juventus gloryhunters who started following Juve since last season. A complete joke in my opinion. Juventus is the overall best team in Serie A and will surely win their sixth consecutive title this season. The reason they are where they

  19. ermmm for someone that don't like Mourinho that much today I have to say your mistaken here. Mourinho first time around was amazing. Yes we did spent a lot of money but it was spend right and the players we got was amazing. Back then Mourinho was the man. Now as I been saying for a while he's a shadow and more then likely going to be like that for a while. Futbol evolves and so must manager. Those that don't evolve stay behind. Otherwise Wenger, Benitez, Capello, Mourinho and the likes would be ruling today.

  20. He was getting more carried away than a lot of the fans at the end yesterday, superb to see. I love his energy and passion, but at the same time the way he's so measured before and after games. It's genuinely refreshing not hearing some bollocks in an attempt at (not so subtle) misdirection - He tells it like it is, but still protects the players (note how he didn't say a thing about the virus after the Utd game and instead blamed himself for the team and formation he put out). Even if we didn't end up winning anything, it's been a tremendous season in the context of how things panned out

  27. They played the semis in the Champions-League before Guardiola came and worked his magic with the ~150 mil. he spent. Most of Guardiola's buys have been huge failures, just take a look at that poor excuse of a goalie. Guardiola is too arrogant to be a bit more pragmatic, he can't defend, even if his life would depend on it. Don't forget, this season they will be trophieless, last season Pellegrino won them a cup. Monaco took them out with ease and when taking City as a whole into account, it really shouldn't have happened. Of course he's not a bad coach, he's just the opposite extreme of Mo

  30. This terrible player has 17 PL assists this season so far, despite being pulled a row behind his normal spot by Pep in favour of Silva. De Bruyne has the best passing game in the world and is clearly a class above Silva, although Pep clearly likes Silva more, as he is his only #10. But I understand the decision if you wanna play both players, Silva just waits for the ball to do something, while De Bruyne runs his arse off all game long. So De Bruyne fits better as CM than Silva. But both are CAM.

  36. I don't really like Simeone's style of football..not that Antonio is the most offensive minded trainer around but still. Poch is already too far up Spurs' asses. Conte has to stay at Chelsea for the long-term. We are craving for a manager to stay longer than 4 years and not getting axed by Roman.

  41. Quite intriguing listening Antonio talk about a question regarding Cesc today we he explained brilliantly. The question was asked whether he can keep Cesc happy by just playing him from the bench and also starting the odd game. Antonio said that he is wanting a winning mentality from everyone and it's not about keeping people happy but driving them to work hard, if they work hard they win things, then they should be happy. If they want to be happy, they work hard and the rest will follow. He said keeping 20+ plus players happy is not easy, it's his job to make them winners and prepare them.

  42. I don't agree with this. Never have agreed with it and I never will. Goals are obviously an important part of a striker's role, but to say that role is all about goals is equivalent to saying that a centre back's role is all about planting the ball into row Z. Every player has more than one function to perform for his team, and each of them is important. Part of the reason Messi scores so many goals is the fantastic contribution he makes to Barca's build up. He makes his team more efficient in possession and not only he himself, but his teammates too, reap the rewards. Someone at the

  43. Loads of reports saying we are going to double his wages from £25,000 to £50,000. Surely he can't be on £25,000 a week already. Must be doubling from £12,500 to £25,000 but everything I have read states we will double his existing wages from £25,000 to £50,000 a week. If this is true, how the hell are we paying a player that much who had barely had a kick of professional football before the start of the season. If true, our young players are really pampered on another level.

  45. He is absolutely clueless. Alonso has been playing on a decent level for years now and has clearly upped his game since he joined us, especially after Conte changed to 3-4-3. His contribution is really great and he helps Hazard very much, because he drags the opposition defenders out wide. His crossing is decent and he has a very good left foot. This season he has been performing very well for months, but doesn't get the praise he deserves.
