  1. Super Jan Fan, 6 minutes ago "clear red, but it looks worse in slow mow, I don't think he was trying to do it, just off balance, trying to regain the ball and the challenge was out of control and dangerous. Lucky not to have broken the guy's leg, but I don't think there was malice in it." Idiot....

  2. Think it has to do more with the North American sports influence where there is no cup competitions in ice hockey, baseball, basketball, American rugby et al. Even here in Romania the FA Cup matches are advertised for days. Sutton v Arsenal last night you'd have thought it's the World Cup Final with all the promos and stories in every news edition. The FA Cup truly is a major competition and the prospect of two stellar semi-finals at Wembley makes it even more entertaining. Chelsea (hopefully!), City, Arsenal, Spurs - Champions League like final four. To win the league title a

  5. Hmm...you'd think after possibly the greatest feat in English football history (definitely the most surprising, at least), you'd get a full year without being sacked. Shame he didn't even get to coach the 2nd leg of the CL...

  6. Well, he didnt grew up dreaming about United either, since he always talks about his dream club being Benfica. Plus, him supporting United has nothing to do with It and like i said, this first option( If true) just gives United the chance to match the bid, and from there its up to the player, aka It doesnt change much.

  7. True but Champions League football could be our bargaining chip if there's fight for the player. We're scratching the surface at the moment as I'm not sure Chelsea are that interested and I can't figure out why Man United would want him.

  8. There's a piece in today's Guardian about best goals that have gone in off the woodwork. They chose six including this one by Brian Bason against Carlisle in 1975. Bason run a boozer not far from where I lived in the early 90's . He only played a handful of games for us as I recall, there's also an interview with a 18 year old Ray Wilkins after the game who has a full head of hair and looking like an extra from Saturday Night Fever. Glad I was too young to have missed out dressing like that the size of the shirt collar is ridiculous

  9. Very true. Exposure pretty much gets rid of any perceived differences, even if you are raised in racist environments. Some of my earliest memories is the LA riots, and the Korean shop owners on top of their buildings holding guns to protect their shops from Rioters. I remember sitting there, and my grandmother making jokes about how the rioters were so upset that they "Want to take subpar Korean product instead of something good"...absolutely disgusting sentiment from her bred by some perceived superiority complex, and I could have easily fell into this old way of thinking until I

  12. That's an honest difference of opinion, which is fair enough. I've never said that Nemanja is a pub player, just one with some deficiencies in key attributes we need. I've always said that when circumstances are in his favour Nemanja can pick a pass as well as most professionals. His issues are exposed when the set up is not in his favour; when the ball is on his right foot, when his body shape isn't right, when he needs to manipulate the ball to make an angle, when he needs poise to buy time while his teammate makes the run. Those are the times, which is to say almost all of the tim

  13. I see what you mean, but even if no one is around to be offended, racism can still perpetuate racism. The best way to break down racism is through experience with other races. By separating yourself from other races, you're allowing negative perceptions to continue without giving the option to learn about others. If that makes sense

  14. I think he took him down in that he gave him enough spotlight to where such archival footage could be found. On the internet, and I guess a few college campuses, Milo was pretty much invisible. Nobody would really challenge him because online leftist are too busy in their outrage culture, and online righties are too busy hating whatever flavor of the month group. Neither had the energy, or focus to really take him down. Maher put him in front of people, namely Evan Mcmullen(The Reagan Battalion) who did have the focus to take him down. Without a maher appearance, this footage remain

  16. Why should any nation have representation in another? Japan (or any nation) shouldn't become multicultural for the sake of representation. That is terrible, but how many people does it affect? Yeah, it's shitty if you happen to be apart of that 1.5% but my heart doesn't bleed as much compared to an issue like Kurds in Turkey. If I go to city in Serbia and stand in the town square and scream 'I HATE NIGGERS!' it doesn't hurt anyone because there is no one around to hurt. It's still racist as anything else but there hasn't been a victim. I agree with you that they shouldn't be racist but I

  20. Exactly. And to make it worse, behind matic and alonso is cahill !. Which relatively slow and he isnt very good to build up from the back. Cahill need so much protection from matic or alonso to position more close to him. Another reason why our left area is poor and that is really obvious in certain match It sad to watch week in week out hazard surround by limited player. So we have to accept, we barely see excellent and dangerous combination from our left area. Even though need to mention, for some games hazard also frustating player. He looks lacking consistency

  22. Some of the best and most intense games we've played have been in domestic cups, especially FA Cup. One thing that established us as a domestic powerhouse were our triumphs in cups, not only in the league. I don't understand how you are incapable of appreciating that, but that's not my problem.
