Social media has become a plague these days....with fans pulling quotes out of their arse. Even without searching on web, you can tell that someone as savvy with social media as Cech, wouldn't make a careless remark like that.

Social media makes crap like The Sun look like quality investigative journalism. The best way to combat this plague is not to share things like that without having a solid source. They should also be deleted from here because it's essentially libelous towards the person who the quote is attributed to and contributes to people forming potentially negative or hostile opinions based on false evidence. Pictures/quotes like this that don't have any mention of the source can be dismissed without a second thought. Btw, at some point sharing news from untrustworthy sources was against the rules here,

I finally feel I've seen enough of Antonio Conte to make an assessment of him as a manager. A friend of mine who is a Spurs fan after the game said our man of the match was Conte. I really didn't understand what he mean't until I saw a video posted that showed him from the sidelines. Antonio Conte is the Captain of this team. Normally a manager uses his captain as his extension onto the pitch, under Conte he is the vocal leader responsible for getting people in the right position during the flow of the game. Not a chance Barca are going to try sign him, no disrespect to him because he's been good for us this season but let's not get carried away. I've seen him being called a world class wing back too but he's not world class, he's been good in this new system but if your world class after only 4 months then god knows about everyone else. People like to talk about players like James that are much much better than the likes of Pedro. I wouldnt go there personaly. Perhaps on individual level, James is better and has more skill, more fame, more amazing goals etc etc..but fact is a fact that he will NEVER contribute to the team as much as Pedro did to that barca. Say that Pedro had luck to play next to Messi and Iniesta, but what, James doesnt have luck to play next to Ronaldo and Modric? Truth is Pedro was good enough to keep himself in that squad for all those years, while James is not good enough to get in this squad

I know many get frustrated with some of Pedro's misses, etc, but I have always felt he brings a pace to our attack that Willian (and I like him too) just does not bring. I think we are fortunate that he was still here when Conte arrived and now mixing him and Moses in with Hazard and Costa going forward really opens up the other side. He works well with the rest of the lads and creates. He hustles as well. As much as I love Willian's hustle, he slows the attack down standing on the right side of goal at the corner of the penalty area dribbling (similar to Hazard in matches last year). Pedro mo

I spoke to him at the hotel and he speaks like a true fan, just the small things he says is brilliant. As we walked away and went to the car he shouts "Come on Blues" across the car park...He cares, not only does he care but he has come back a much mature and intelligent footballer.
