  1. Antonio has built from scratch the defense of Juventus relying completely on a player like Barzagli. He has completely evolved Chiellini and Bonucci game making them excellent defenders. It also managed to improve Marchisio and if the defense of Juventus today is so competitive it is only thanks to Antonio. It has also managed to integrate perfectly even Simone Pepe and has always given confidence to the people who put heart and will as Giaccherini Matri quagliarella. The extraordinary ability of Antonio is to always keep the tension and concentration at the highest level, when Juventus made o

  2. What impressed me most about last night is how much he got out of what is on paper a very average bunch of players (excluding Buffon and the defence). If England had to make do with the likes of Giaccherini, Eder and Pelle as some of our strongest attacking options (not to mention a player as piss-poor as Borini made their preliminary squad), we wouldn't even qualify for the tournament. I've read a lot about how he took a lot of players to the next level at Juventus, and last night seemed to confirm that. We clearly need 3 or 4 top signings to go into the team, but I have high h

  3. Italy may have played on the counter but when they did counter they ended up having 3 or 4 in the box. Thats the difference. This is not the greatest Italian team but it is obvious they have bought into Conte and his ways. Hardly anyone would have predicted that result of 2-0 and you mention Belgium chances but if it wasnt for Tibo, then Italy could have easily had 1 or 2 more as well

  5. What's funny is that Conte said recently he doesn't care about counter attacking and doesn't train it. Wonder if it's true or he's simply making it more difficult to read his hand. Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk

  6. Horrid player. Doesn't have the touch, the movement, the intelligence or the attitude to make at a top club. Hope he never comes here. Always said Alvaro Morata is our man. He complements Costa very well and I can see him tearing Europe down in a few years.

  7. Yeah Belgium had that chance with Lukaku, but on the flip side, Pelle missed that sitter then Courtois made that great save, so it could be flipped to say if those chances are taken, game over before the hour. Like I said whatever happens in this tournament has no bearing on what could happen here, but he got it spot on tonight.

  8. Conte may have gotten his tactics spot on but let's not forget who's the manager of the team he faced tonight. On top of that, in the midst of all this praise for Conte, people seem to have missed the fact that Italy sat back and played on the break - something people weren't pleased about when we did it under Mourinho - in the second half. Belgium created some good chances which should have been put away. Had one gone in, people's opinion on Conte might have changed. In fact, it's alright that he's getting all the love right now, but what are the odds of fans turning against him if Italy were

  9. Tactical masterclass. But he needs to get players that suit his tactics. That means Bonucci, Nainggolan etc. With Baba-JT-Cahill-Ivanovic this relationship will end in tears.

  10. I don't think anyone was comparing - its the fact that the Texan Governor was condoning the slaughter of those people, by stating that because their sexuality was not heterosexual, their murders have occurred because 'they have reaped what they have sown'. Its as crystal as an unmuddied lake, as an azure sky of deepest Summer that is what he meant. Disgraceful.

  11. Let me put it this way. If I don't like someone, I can insult him, I can curse him but under no circumstance I'm I allowed to kill him just because I don't like him. So no matter what that guy says, he doesn't tell anyone to go and kill somebody, and he doesn't commit murder like Omar did. His actions are completely different from the massacre that Omar did so it's wrong to put them in the same boat like they're similar.

  12. No you misunderstand -he is saying if you love someone of the same sex, 'you reap what you sow' -you get killed. Just as the same nutcases said AIDS was Gods revenge. Islam and Christianity are incompatible with modern life, It turns out now the culprit was homosexual and to my mind couldn't reconcile his feelings towards other men with the ramblings of the Quran. Many gay serial killers cant cope with the dichotomy. Much of the buggery in the catholic church, the rape of boys, is because homosexuality is pushed underground. Those people died in Pulse nightclub because of religions

  14. I don't know much, but from what I've read, firing would be easier for employers and work hour limits would be relaxed, making overtime pay potentially less.

  15. It would go really, really bad. Not everyone is willing and able to effectively use a gun, and if everyone had a gun in that nightclub, it could have turned out worse just as easily as better. You're in a confined space with low lighting crammed full of people who have been drinking and all have loaded weapons. That seems like a disaster to me. The shooter opens fire, a couple people see it and shoot at him and then others don't know who the original shooter is or if there's still a threat. You may not be able to get rid of all guns, but you're making it insanely hard for people to get gu

  16. Call me biased because the Italian is our new boss, for me Conte is a better tactician than Mourinho, if not much better. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely admire Jose but to me he was more of a motivator than a tactician especially in his second spell at Chelsea.

  17. That would be ideal if we manage to get them. We would be challenging for the title and at least 1 cup. I believe Conte knows too well there's no possibility of Bonucci coming here, anyone who thinks otherwise is simply deluded, he might have had a few words with him but he knows Bonucci won't move.

  22. Actually winning it will be tough, Pep and pre third season Jose is formidable opposition, but the right window mixed with Conte's tactics and I'll be amazed if we don't challenge.

  23. Need? Hard to say. Left back, CB ( or 2) a CM, 2 strikers. Possibly another player in the Oscar role, and sell him on. Will we get what we need? I very much doubt it.

  24. Isn't this exactly the same reason many people here criticize De Gea, Neuer and such, because they are "show keepers" and make the simplest of things look good on telly? Courtois was supposed to be the calm guy who makes the most difficult things look simple. Critics and ridicule should go both ways.

  25. I was impressed with the Italy team last nite if conte sort out are defending out I can't see why we can't win the league next season one of the reason we had a poor season cause off are defending and another thing about conte he can get the best outta of 30+ old year players Italy counter attacking football was great to watch last nite
