  1. Mourinho suits Chelsea and Chelsea suits Mourinho. He should and hopefully will be our manager, most important thing is sticking to your manager in the bad days.

  2. I thought about this for a moment - Mou selling Yaya to bring someone from the Academy. WOW. It's literally impossible. Let alone Yaya, I think he wouldn't do that with Mikel. Mou is the kind of manager that preferred Khedira to Modric. Enough said ? He changed Mata position and threw him on the right to run like Moses. Oh and I forget that he gave Kevin De Bruyne total of 130 minutes in the Premier League, not fielding him in the league for 4 months (!!!) until he was sold. Yeah, let's waste our time about this again. About Ferguson, as far as I remember he wasted his time trying to bring thr

  3. By interesting do you mean: new profiles being created just to insult everyone at the club, the same old moaners singing victory songs despite whats best for Chelsea, members reporting each one left and right, even more rumours about Jose/players leaving, etc? All of that culminating in absurd amounts of bullshit posts for the glorious TC history?

  5. Moslty it comes down to having a B team. We have the option to ship our loanees to a lot of teams with a lot of different apporach to football. We cant keep them near the first team, let them experience the atmosphere of having A team star players join in on trainings etc. Barca B is doing exactly what they expect a A team player to do - same footprint and style of football. Plus La Liga is less punisning, you can field a youth player that already knows the club way's inside out, because Barca can practically walk over any team in the world, let alone La Liga.

  6. i cant give any credit to jose regarding courtois. courtois was a liga winner and CL finalist. a part, infact the main reason that ATM beat RM to cop del ray. he was already a world class player. jose was doing nothing but replacing one world class player with another, with a 10 year age gap. jose did not have to develop courtois, he could "trust" courtois cos well, he had already done it all. and for me, thats the difference between courtois and lukaku. i feel these 2 cases are very different and incomparable.

  7. What i like about Ferguson is his approach to the game. It's what the likes of Scholes and Gary Neville did criticise in their modern days game; simply the lack of attacking. Although Ferguson had more or less job security he was never ever afraid to think outside the box, he adapted quickly, for example to Chelsea back in the day. His lineups had changed over the years. His Manchester side with Ronaldo was something else. But some firms believe that only young people can be creative.... Maybe Ferguson was sometimes too ruthless with his players, i think Berbatov could have been handedly diff

  8. How about Manuel? 2 seasons, 1 PL trophy. And Manuel's on his way to his 2nd PL trophy. Until Mourinho matches Ferguson with the trophy count, he's no way better than Ferguson. I'm not saying Jose is bad, and I agree Jose is one of PL's best managers of all time, but I'm saying it's ridiculous to say Jose is better than Sir Alex at this point of time. Sir Alex has a clear distance between all other PL managers at the moment. His European record is bad, and Jose edges him there I agree but we are not talking about who's the best CL manager in history here. The reason I'm calling out on the fanb

  9. In 27 years 13 Championships. Mourinho: 5 seasons 3 Championships. Jose Mourinho isn't doing so bad, is he?! I don't want to say who is the best, they all are very good managers. Ferguson did it time and time again, kudos to him, but his European record isn't that good so every person has his weak spot. The thing which is laughable here (imo) is that some people call their own people fanboys just because they like their manager. Everyone who doesn't get in line is just a fanboy or the media is shit, what about freedom of opinion?!

  10. Yes, as is with anything you can't judge quality by one factor alone, but what it does highlight is Mourinho's strong point. Basically what it should teach is that you shouldn't be so quick to get rid one of the strongest assets you possess. Anyway, the one thing I really liked about that video anyway was seeing how many Chelsea and ex-Chelsea managers made up the list...

  13. How long does his contract run? Make your evaluation when his contract is up, i think you wouldn't want to be evaluated when you still have time left. When i get some free time i will take a look at your old posts because i'm just curious: Have you ever said something positive about Chelsea and our coach? @Fulham Broadway good posts, keep them coming

  14. the guy who said the oscar would have a hazard-esque development after jose said it? or the guy who just in september said that oscar was the most important player. or the guy who feels that the sun shines out of cesc's ass (last season). you are right in one thing though, barca and bayern are not chelsea. they are bigger clubs with even bigger demands and what nots than us. try to open your eyes and see the reality for once, instead of trying to call out people on their nationality. and thats a moderator.

  16. Am sure a lot of fans have the same romantic notion of youth development and maybe forfeit silverware for a while. The bitter reality is that this would never happen. Chelsea Football Club is first and foremost a business to make profit. Everything else is secondary and periphery. I wish people would understand this instead of the 'mourinho is such a 'orrible git for not playing josh, ruben, insert any youth player here[............]

  17. trying to buy rooney was a good idea. a very good idea. trying to buy etoo, for a year was ridiculous to say the least. yes, if we had given lukaku a chance, if we had given KDB a chance, if we had given bertrand a chance, if we had given luis the chance etc etc. see the pattern?

  18. Lukaku scored about as many PL goals in the last six games than Costa did in the last calendar year. I have serious doubts about Costa being the main striker here.

  19. For me, Courtois>Neuer. He makes everything look so simple, I don't need a goalkeeper to give me heart attacks with his kamikaze actions. Tibo gives us such a secure feeling at the back.

  22. Now the Mancs have to shut the up because they lost too against the mighty Bournemouth. Van Gaal looked really angry, imo. Can he survive this season?! Howe is doing a fantastic job, so many injuries but he grinds out results against Chelsea and United. I like Bournemouth, hope they can survive in the Premier-League.

  24. No and no. The academy makes a profit, it is if you like a production line. If youre lucky you may get 1% of loanees ever considered good enough to play for Chelseas first team, but the bottom line is that the factory is profitable. Abramovich leaves the running of his business to directors and the board. How do we know Abramovich wants to see the youth play ? This is mere media speculation, as he never speaks to the press.

  27. @Essien19, @stroey, we can all agree that they are both world class and it´s a joy and a previlege to watch them both play, Neuer for me is the number 1, even if his methods are sometimes crazy, he´s 29 years old, has won it all (except Euro), he is at his prime, complete GK imo and Courtois is only 23 years old mind you, he will only get better with age and he is a beast already and has been since he was at a younger age, just like Neuer, and we are so lucky to have Courtois at Chelsea, just like we were with Cech at his best. For me in this last 5 years, the 5 best GK: Neuer, Casillas, Cour

  28. His successful loan at WBA was the reason Mou wanted him in the first place same as with KDB. In a big team and especially with a new coach competition is necessary. If after 3 PL games other players like say Azpi or Cahill felt overlooked and frustrated and asked to leave they would never had their chance either.

  29. It's alright mate, finally we have reached an agreement. Yes, BBC didn't do it for the football, they did it for the clicks what means in the end more money. Therefore they didn't include all the necessary numbers. It's your right to point the finger. I fully agree with this. Some users however won't. I heard trophies are just for tourists and for the museum, one can look up low scoring results on the internet and so on. But that's how it is, everyone has his own idea about the perfect game. 31. Maybe I was being a bit too serious about it, but I just wanted to make it clear BBC is only doing that for clicks (If you live outside the UK, you'll see ads on the website) and Facebook chatter to gain popularity. Win percentage is a great achievement, and I do agree it have its use, but at the end of the day, that's not what the PL's all about. It's part of it sure, but that is not the main goal. Let's flip this the other side. Let's say BBC posts "The Best PL Managers in History" but based on the undefeated streak. Arsene Wenger will be #1, therefore the best PL manager of all time. Would

  32. are we STILL blaming lukakau for wanting to play? a 20 year old, who could have been our future has competition with torres and ba, and supposedly judged to be worse than both of them. and then jose had the audacity to go and buy a 33 year old etoo knowing he will not be anything more than a stop gap. and then, jose plays schurrle ahead of lukaku at OT as a striker, literally spitting in his face and telling him that you are not getting any games here. sorry, but any ambitious player with a smidgen of self respect would have done what lukaku did. that too in a world cup year.
    2 points
  33. oops he did it again!!!! i still cant believe we let a 21 year old PL proven striker go despite having striker problems for the last 5 years. oh well!!! and the worse thing is that a lot of people had agreed to this at that time, cos apparently one world cup is good enough to judge a player.

  34. Who's to say Jose will be with us for 10 years? We don't know. Right now, Jose IS on his way there to beat Sir Alex, but that's it. He's just on his way there.Same as Manuel, IF he wins this season's PL trophy, his trophy win percentage rate better Mourinho's. Is Manuel suddenly better than Jose? Point is, Sir Alex has set a standard. Jose, Manuel etc. Are on their way to beating it but until it has been beaten, Sir Alex is the best PL manager in history. Again, that doesn't mean Jose is a bad manager. I slag him off because I get angry when we repeat the same mistakes over and over, but I sti

  36. I think one can say that Courtois is a better allround keeper than Neuer was at his age. But currently Neuer is for me the number one. During a game there were rarely any shots on target, most of the time Neuer is just unoccupied. I have seen both play in the arena. Sometimes Neuer's action do look a bit kamikaze, but his aura and how he handles a game, sometimes he goes to the centerline are unbelievable for me. When he comes out, most of the time it's the perfect moment and his saves, Benzema comes into mind, just brilliant. Furthemore the games at Schalke against Porto and United were one

  37. Yes I know. But the name of the video is called 'The top PL managers in history' and it's ranked. And at first, like a normal person would think this is going to be based on trophies won, not win percentage.Manuel is 2nd place, only won 1 PL trophy so far and he's already better than Sir Alex and even Wenger? Can you say that in a straight face? You can have the most wins in the season. But if you don't win the league that season, nobody gives a shit. That's what I'm saying here. Win percentage is a weird way to examine which manager is better. As I said in the previous post, Pep can take over

  38. If we win CL and FA Cup we could finish one goal above relegation and I'd be fucking delighted....it's not even a debate. If we do not get into CL, we'd better not even get 6th and then it is irrelevant where we finish anyway.

  40. Very misleading. No way Mourinho and Pellergini are better than Ferguson. Ferguson played 800+ games in the league, that's why his winning percentage is lower. False stuff from BBC. Doing that so they can spark arguments on Facebook and Twitter. EDIT: Mancini better than Wenger in PL history? Really? I hate Arsenal but that is so dumb. They should have done this by the number of trophies they won, and if there's a tie between any THEN the number of wins.

  42. Absolutely, but the FA in particular want GKs to (arguably) be more proficient with their feet than with their hands, since 75% of a goalkeeper's workload is distributing long. Hence why Neuer is so celebrated. He's so proficient with his feet he's technically a centre midfielder. So coaches like me have to go back to the FA to be re-coached whenever a new initiative is launched. I was lucky enough to complete my UEFA B late in 2014, so after the change in the coaching syllabus, but my GK Level 1 (2011) and Level 2 (2012) are moreorless obsolete now based on their content. The courses change o

It's safe to claim that you watched Pastore more than i did. I didn't follow him match by match, sometimes i watched him play, but that's it. Let's get right into it. I think the first season of Pastore, the boy just turned 21, he was the real deal. He was their center of the play and lived up to the hype, imo. Scoring 13 goals, getting 6 assists in the league was great. Yes, sometimes he went underground, but he c
