  1. Well here's the thing, Mourinho didn't had enough patience with him after a sub par performance, but he sure can do it for Ivanovic... You need to have more patience for the younger guys not the older guys!

  2. RLC should start a few matches in a row. Even for such a young player he couldn't be any worse than Fab or Matic right now. BTW Jose wasn't watching RLC play U21's, Jose was having dinner with his wife and Brana again.

  3. I`m just looking at us getting into some good form, the rest will take care of itself. the talk of what silverware we have already supposedly lost is extremely premature tho. I`ve no desire to predict where we will be next month, let alone in 8 months time. back in the day when Forest were putting 7 past us at the city ground..we started singing always look on the bright side of life...football is taken too seriously now...

  7. Got to be said that Pelegrini came to CIty when they already had a game plan. I dont think he changed that much from the good moments of the Mancini era. And needless to say City were much better than Chelsea in 11/12 and 12/13. We were a mess. So Jose had a lot more work than him. Of course its not an excuse right now after 2 years Jose is with us, just saying. I agree about the general point, but PSG's game (even against mid-table sides in France and lower) isnt that fluid and impressive as you would think they should play. You elaborated the good things about their game, but in actual atta

  9. Lionsden with some great posts in this thread. If the result at our appalling poor form since mid January is to throw more money at the problem then doesn't that make Mourinho a chequebook manager? I watched PSG play Monaco the other day & the quality of football they play in comparison to ours is lightyears ahead of us. Every single one of their players apart from Cavani is elite in possession. They split Luiz & Silva, push both Aurier & Maxwell high up the pitch & Motta (who was sensational) is the outlet, constantly recycling possession & controlling the game. That's a b

  10. Its only a few weeks into the 2015/16 Premier League season but many pundits are already saying that Chelsea will not be able to retain the title. People should not be so quick to make such bold judgements. It hasn't been the best of starts for the reigning champions but Chelsea fans know that their manager and team have what it takes to bounce back from this slow start and prove the doubters wrong. Here is a look at why Chelsea will win the Premier League again this season. The Special One Chelsea have one of the best managers of all time at the helm. Some statistics surrounding Jose Mourinho

Bayern - 337 9. Arsenal - 305 10. Juventus - 301 http://www.football-observatory.com/IMG/pdf/wp116_eng.pdf English sides sure can't complain about spending power. Chelsea in the top 5. Manchester clubs rivalling Real. Liverpool in 7th haha. The likes of Atletico, Valencia, Dortmund well behind. Sevilla have done extremely well to create that side with 77 mil, after losing a few players in the summer as well.

  12. How he flopped in England ? As far as I remember he started 2 league games, played in 3 and was here only 6 months to be sold for then club-record fee to Wolfsburg. I think you have to do way more bad things than that to be flop.

  13. Cant take all this Mou out bullshit. The only thing we can whine about as far as he goes is team selection. We had basically the same players as the start of last season when I thought we were playing brilliant football. The same team are all training together, on the pitch together, asleep together. If the players aren't doing the jobs with the sort of emotions and character they should be then its them that need the wake up call. I'm still all for Mou and just hope the fuck he keeps Bane on the bench and finds a way to wake the buggas up.

  15. Plymouth away I remember Ist round of league cup. Me and my mate were the only Chelsea in the ground about 1 half hours before kick off , drove there in his new open top MG. Lovely sunny evening. 'Chelsea Will Die' painted on the terraces. Dogs abuse from about 3k Plymouth fans for 30 mins before all the chelsea coaches arrived

  17. We have too much cover at AM. He should've gone out on loan because Jose won't even look at him. What've we got atm? Hazard, Oscar, Willian, Pedro, Kenedy, Traore... That's 6 players ahead of him already.

  18. Despite of cognitive dissonance and mental discomfort. Too few listened to the belgians that saw him play a lot. We were belgian fanboys. But it was not that. We knew what he could do. If he gets confidence in City ...... Well, he will beat Eden in stats (not talent or flair). Therefore, i think it is shit he isn't here anymore. We have Willian, a shitload of unpronouncables, Oscar with a wobbly form, Cech going Arsenal, etc. Yup, i think it sucks we didnt give him his run in. We did it for Oscar, in a WC year. Look how that went.

  19. Jack Wilshere is fantastic player. Injury prone, yes, but when healthy, he is one of the best cm/am in the epl. Much better than ramsey is Jack Wilshere is still 23 years old and outside of inform yaya, no one in the epl is a better b2b midfielder.

  21. One thing i'm sure of, is that of all the managers that passed in this club while I've been a supporter, there can be only one that is sitting in his office during this international break, rewatching game by game, trying to figure it out where it all went wrong, making decisions, and working his ass off to find solutions, and that is Mourinho. We'll come back stronger for sure, over the last 10 years, we always did anyways, that's part of our DNA.

  24. No idea how any Chelsea fan could write us off, especially with the amount of times we have had great starts to the season only to implode, that is what i think will happen to Man City with their overrated and ageing squad. In 2008/09 we won 10 of our first 14 games, only losing 1 and then on Matchday 15 we lost top spot and never regained it and ended up finishing 3rd. In 2010/11 we stayed top from Matchday 1 to Matchday 14 and lost top spot on Matchday 15 and never regained it. In 2012/13 we won 7 of our first 8 games, drawing 1, we led from Matchday 3 to Matchday 9 and lost top spot on Matc

  25. Please check your facts:David played in midfield against top teams - very successfully - BOTH before and after Matic was signed in January. He played alongside Matic often in big games. We had an amazing record when both played in midfield esp that win against city.

  29. He should celebrate. It wasn't us who developed him when he was a young player. He didn't play even 10 games for our team, so no hard feelings. I'm sad how his career here turned out Double standards there, completely agree mate.

  30. Even if his dad didn't say it I wouldn't be surprised and annoyed at all when he celebrates if he scores. After all we didn't do anything for the guy but sign him and play him for 5-6 games. He wasn't so significant in our past so my feelings to be hurt from that. Maybe he'll flop, maybe he wont but it's his choice what to do when he scores and I couldn't care less.

  32. But we've still got Stoke on a cold night in November. I'll be chuffed to be in Europe next year. We will wake up and get it together its just swings and roundabouts. Just look at the money we are going to be spending in the next 2 open seasons to sort out the problems we will have. Lets just hope we have a plan B next time.

  33. the way Chelsea and Mourinho win titles is by storming out of the starting block leaving everyone else behind, building a gap quite early on we won't win the title this season

  34. EVERYONE is sad because a photo has emerged of a thing that has been happening several times a week for months. It has been confirmed that everyone kind of knew the thing was happening, but now they are very sad and angry because there is a photo of it. Martin Bishop, from Hatfield, said: “If only there wasn’t a photo of the thing that’s been happening for months, I wouldn’t have to care about it. “But, according to the rules, now that there’s a photo of the thing we all kind of knew was happening, something must be done. “And don’t show me any more photos.”

  38. Not saying it wasn't on the manager for not rotatingitsmore down to the displays then vs now, I wasn't too worried about them because like I said it was obvious we only had one agenda in mind and that was just getting over the line, yeah we looked lethargic at times offensively but I always felt we would get the points, a big difference compared to now, honestly we could have Watford at home next and I'll fear defeat. Also those games you've mentioned were the only ones where the defense was a real problem last term, this time round they have all fallen off a cliff, even Cesar is losing a few 1

  39. You know Real madrid didnt knew what Makelele offers so they sold him. But soon the rest of the team become shit. Maka wasnt some flashy player, but he was vital. He was vital despite being invisible in games. He made others be able to do their job. I dont say that Oscar is on same level as Maka. But he might have some similar impact on our team. All we know we played the best football when Oscar was on fire in first half of last season. He turned shit and rest of team didnt have the same balance and control either after. Costa was less efficient, Cesc out of depth, Matic... I think Oscars pr

  40. The fact that most people are now only criticising mourinho when in reality the only difference between the second half of last season and now is the result, shows how result oriented some fans really are. My prediction is, once we get a couple of wins under our belt, the teams garbage performances and issue with the team will be overlooked and swept under the carpet as usual. As fans, We have the lowest expectation and standard of the "top teams" on Europe.

  41. I'd sell Hazard if he played like Robben. Cut inside and look for a shot everytime you get the ball? Eugh. Hazard has scored 14 League goals in back to back seasons which is more than decent. Drogba only did that twice for us.

  43. So then, Papy Chulo and Hector Barbossa are our deadline signings? that´s great we had a whole summer to adress our issues, and yet they insisted on Stones and Pogba, are you telling me we couldn´t look elsewhere and lure someone like: Garay, Godin, Witsel, Song, Aranguiz, Kondongbia, Khedira, Vidal, Schneiderlin ? just to name a few. Is this what we have come to? Gone are the days when we would get our target and make a statement in the market, i know the club has changed the transfer policy and are complying with FFP which is a joke really, just look at PSG, United and City and all the mon

  45. however according to many here if jose drops Ivanovic we will stop conceding goals... That's the problem with hyperboles... No, I'm not saying he's in playing well, but there are other players, like the beloved Hazard who are also playing like shit. So, picking on Ivanovic because he gets ripped by 2 on ones makes no sense to me. Concerning him being a slow RB - originally a CB - that's not news is it? He's always been a slow RB and Jose seems to like it. Jose should and prob will drop him because of his dreadful form, but others also deserve a drop but won't. @The Chels... he's got the OK
